I visited the Pilot Airport Hotel on a business trip and I thoroughly enjoyed the experience. My room was small but cosy and contained everything I needed on my business trip. It was quiet, very comfortable bed and bathroom and excellent WIFI connection to do my work. The biggest asset of this hotel is its exceptionally polite and helpful staff who really made me feel so welcome during my stay. The breakfast buffet was very nice and the restaurant offers delicious food. Outside the hotel you have excellent bus connections to Helsinki and the staff is more than willing to help you pick the sights worth seeing. They will definitely be seeing me again in the future.

If this review was of the shuttle bus from the airport we would give it 5 stars as the driver was first class, really friendly and welcoming and did a great job as ambassador for the hotel, helped us with our luggage and advised us on our travel into Helsinki for the evening...a true gentleman. The hotel itself was ok. We managed to get a good night's sleep here, bed was comfy although someone had obviously smoked in the room as it smelled of smoking. The WIFI was not available on the night we were there ( no internet connection). We couldn't get the AC to work which was a shame as it was very warm when we were there however at least we were able to get the window open so it eventually cooled down. The room otherwise was fine and the bathroom had modern fittings. Plenty of hot water for showering before heading back to the airport by 10 minute shuttle bus ride, so very convenient for the airport. Didn't try the breakfast arrangents as it was such an early start . We liked that we could get the shuttle bus back to the airport and then get the train from there out to Helsinki centre for sight seeing and restaurants. Very good shuttle service.

Excellent 4 star, one stop from the airport. One step away from the subway entrance, breakfast while observing the flow of people in and out of the subway. You can have breakfast at 4 o'clock in the morning, and the equipped sauna hotel is a standard 4-star hotel. It takes 30 minutes to take the subway directly to Helsinki Railway Station, and I will stay at his home next time.

I chose this hotel because of my delayed flight (arrival at 1am). The staff was polite even with late arrival and the room seemed very nice and clean. I was staying for just one night so I decided to just take a shower and go to sleep. The room was cozy, clean and pleasantly done and even though the shower head was leaking, I didnt mind that much. However the sewer started to smell incredibly much and I woke up to it around 3-4 am. Closing the bathroom door was enough to make it bearable, but the whole bathroom smelled terribly bad and the room AC was set to 21C and I couldnt modify it. Room warmed up a bit by the morning, but it was really cold for me. Breakfast in little Cesar was also slightly dissapointing, no cold cuts, only three vegetables, rye bread and rest was salty/ meaty warm options. I did like the hotel and feel like the issues should be fairly easy to fix and think it is a good option for people travelling late. I was just dissapointed as my expectations were higher. I did point out the sewer issue to reception in the morning, but got only a brief ”we are sorry”. Hope it's looked into.
