Charming, delightful atmosphere in this hotel. Great reception team. Colossal room with balcony overlooking the rooftops, with huge and extremely comfortable bed, and on that alone the hotel was worth the price. We had supper in the garden served by the most charming and helpful manageress, and the quality of food and service were way above expectation. The supper billl was modest and we left next morning thoroughly rested and completely delighted with the whole experience. We make the journey up from Gascony to Roscoff often, and will be staying here again. Eleven stars out of ten!

We have just spent a week at this hotel with a group of 20 friends, all in classic cars. We cannot praise the hotel enough for the excellent service from all the staff. The breakfasts were fantastic, catering for all diets. The hotel is exceptionally clean and situated in a fantastic position, just a short walk into the town centre and the train station. The ladies on reception were very helpful in recommending and booking restaurants for us, with one of them very kindly lending us her personal umbrella as we had forgotten to take ours. As we were travelling with 10 classic cars, we were always aware of safe parking and the hotel were kind enough to cone off the central block of the car park, so when we returned each day from visiting this amazing area, we could park our cars together, safely. If you are thinking of visiting Vanne as a group or just as a couple we would strongly recommend La Marebaudiere as a place to stay.

If you stay in a Campanile you know what to expect. The only thing I would say is that some of them have proper shower cubicles whilst others have modified baths. As I get older it gets more of a mission to get in and out of a bath so if you're in the same condition it's best to ask first or make a specific request

Quite a walk into the centre of Vannes. The rooms were comfortable and best of all had good air conditioning. Breakfast was fine although service in topping up the options was slow. Our big problem was that the hotel restaurant was closed for evening meals, which meant a fairly long walk into the town to find a restaurant. Not at all easy on a Sunday or Monday evening. Good secluded parking, which our group needed for our cars and pleasant staff.

Our room was large with a kitchenette. We received a friendly welcome at reception with directions and a map to the centre of Vannes which is a 25 minute walk or 5 minute drive to free parking. Would recommend this hotel for a short stay if you are planning on visiting Vannes on a budget.

very comfortable. Smallish bedroom , fine sized bathroom. Very clean. Only problem is that they say they have private parking. They didn't say they only have room for a few cars. We were lucky with the on street parking. We booked the hotel on the basis that it was centre city, 4 star and had a private car park

The B&B hotel in vannes is a typical budget hotel. The rooms are comfortable, modern and clean. There is plenty of parking available and they close the parking at night which feels safe. Unfortunately the hotel is not in a quiet area. There is a busy road nearby and across of the hotel there is a metro whole sale store. The alarm of the store went of at night. Obviously this is not the fault of the hotel but it went on for hours and it was annoying. From 5 am on weekdays big trucks arrive to deliver goods. Many of the truck drivers leave their engines running so it’s noisy. To keep the noise out I closed the window and switched on the airconditioning. The a/c didn’t cool down or worked properly so it became very hot and stuffy in the room. Not a good night sleep. If you get allocated to a room NOT facing the wholesale store I think the hotel is ok for an overnight stay.
