I lost my smartwatch on the day I checked in on the 26th.
On the 30th, I started using my Alipay account at 711 in Thailand. It was still early in the morning, and I was already asleep at this time.
On the 26th, a Chinese group checked in. It should be four men and one woman. They checked out at 12 pm on the 27th. At that time, there were three young backpackers, one man and one woman, who were looking for Lao Wang or someone else. They ran away without paying the room fee. Later, I had no choice but to pay the fee. The person was probably afraid that the watch would alarm when it was within range, so he didn't dare to show up.

First of all, close to everything, located on a very quiet street! We had a wonderful corner room, very bright, with nice view over the town and the lovely mountains. Staff is super sweet! The guy who is in charge at front desk is very very helpful and speaks excellent English. The hotel is a bit run down but very clean and good beds, hot shower, good WiFi. We did not use the pool, the water there looked so so. Breakfast okay, ask and they will give you what you want. Need tickets etc, they will fix it. You can pay with card. We had a very nice time!

I am Japanese.
This hotel was the best during my 5-day trip to Laos.
The price and quality are worth it.
I have stayed at various hotels in Southeast Asia, but this hotel is definitely a 4 star.
Unfortunately, there is a difference between this hotel and the 5 star hotels, but I think this hotel is one of the best 4 star hotels.
First of all, the location is good.
Vang Vieng is a small city. The central area is shaped like an oval, and if you stay within that circle, you can't go wrong. This is something I learned after staying there for 3 days.
There is a convenience store that is open 24 hours a day right in front of this hotel. There are almost no convenience stores in the city, and there is only one other convenience store that is open 24 hours a day.
So having a convenience store right in front of you can be a big advantage.
The fruit smoothie shop next to the hotel is very cheap and delicious. I have traveled to various countries in Southeast Asia, including Vietnam, Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, and Cambodia, but there is no store that can beat the taste and price of this one. What's more, it is open until midnight. It's only a 5-second walk from the hotel, and it's so cheap that it's practically like a hotel drink bar.
Next is the staff's service.
Basically, everyone can understand English. This is not common in hotels in Laos, so it's a big plus.
And the staff are kind and friendly. For example, when I asked, ”I want to rent an electric bicycle. Do you know a good shop?”, they replied, ”I'll call someone from the shop and have them bring the bicycle to the front of the hotel, of course, there's no extra charge.”
It's common in Japan, but I was surprised to be able to have such an exchange overseas, especially in Southeast Asia.
By the way, for some reason I ended up going directly to the electric bicycle shop later, and the price was exactly the same.
To return the bicycle, I only had to leave the key at the hotel front desk, which was very helpful. When traveling to Vang Vieng, an electric bicycle is definitely a must (of course, a motorbike is fine, but bicycles are not allowed), so this kind of service is very much appreciated.
Also, one day I returned to the hotel in heavy rain, and they brought me a bath towel. I was very grateful because I couldn't go back to my room soaking wet.
When I asked for recommendations on restaurants in the evening, they gave me some recommendations and asked me with a grin, ”Massage? Lao Girl?” (It's great that it ends when you say no, whereas street vendors are persistent even if you say no). In short, the staff were wonderful.
As for the room, there were no problems.
The bed and furniture were clean and beautiful. However, the door was a little old (no problem in use), and there was an inevitable problem with insects. This was the case in all hotels in Laos, so there was probably nothing that could be done about it.
Also, when I returned to the room on the second day, there was a slight sewage smell. This is also common in other countries. I was bothered by this smell in the tower apartment I lived in in Malaysia.
It would be better if they had insect repellent or deodorizing spray.
The breakfast was neither good nor bad.
When I chose the hotel, all the plans included breakfast, so I think of it as a ”free breakfast,” but if it was free, I would be satisfied with it.
In addition, the shared spaces were cool and clean, so there was nothing to complain about at this hotel. I had to choose between staying at a ”hotel with many reviews and average ratings” or a ”hotel with few reviews but high ratings,” so I chose the latter and I'm glad I made the right choice.
Vang Vieng was a wonderful city.
I'll definitely come back, and when I do, I'll stay at this hotel.

Check In Date : 29th August 2022. Check Out Date : 30th August 2022. Room : 505. Location : The hotel is located just 10mins walk from the main Vang Vieng Road. It is quite central and there is a small grocery shop in front of the hotel. We were walking from EK Mart and it is easy to just follow the main road and turn right on the temple with green statue. Then we reached the hotel which looks just amazing outside. But the area is quite quiet during the night. There is a small restaurant near the hotel which is frequented by the locals and the food is cheap but taste just as amazing. Reception and Lounge : The recep area is spacious and looks grand. The check in counter is small and there are soft cushions to relax while waiting for check in. The reception speaks good english and very helpful too. The whole area is spotlessly shiny. The guy working surprised me. When we parked our motorcycle right in front of the hotel for the night, the recep guy told us to bring the motorcycle inside. By inside, I mean, in the lounge area. It is the safest area to left the bike at night because it is right inside the building. Room : Room 505 is just spacious and grandiouse in terms of EVERYTHING. The size is massive, the bed is soft, the bathroom is big, the AC works well and the best part is the view. The 2 windows in the room gave us the best view of the mountains. We simply love it. It is highly refreshing knowing that I woke up seeing the karst mountain that made the backdrop of Vang Vieng town. The mattress are super soft and the free space is just crazy. The room can fit 3 double beds simply. We think we get more than what we paid. The fridge works well too. The lighting is also nice.' Facilities : This hotel is disabled friendly. It has a working elevator to reach the high floor and it has all the necessity to cater for the old person. The dining hall is located just next to the reception area and it has many tables too, good for chatting with other guests. The swimming pool is located at the far end of the recep area and it is medium in size. There are several chairs provided there. I was swimming in the pool around 8pm, and was the only one. Breakfast : The choice is not much during our stay maybe because the occupancy is low. There are fried rice, porridge, bread, cereals, eggs and some sausages. The porridge taste super nice. Satisfaction : We are really satisfied with the hotel and through our stay. We highly recommend this hotel for other traveler.

It's far away from the street. The hotel has a battery car, and Lecheng picks up and drops off without charge.
Wifi is good. Next door is the hot air balloon base, where you can watch the balloons take off.

Based on the online pictures and reviews we thought we were getting a real deal. The price point was less than $20usd a night. In reality, this is a less than $20 a night kind of hotel, not an amazing discounted deal. The pool and view are it's only redeeming features. The reception area is basic, although the staff do know some English. The design is a real concrete block style. The room is lacking any decor, just the bed (which is particularly hard) and a dark outdated bathroom without screen or curtain for the shower. The hotel is about 10mins walk from town, as expected, although if I had my time again I would stay more central. The hotel didn't appear to do breakfast (despite this being an option on Agoda) so it's quite a walk to the closest place for sometime eat. (Naked expresso is the pick for a coffee!) The pool was sparkly clean (and granted the rooms were clean), and the view to the mountains was lovely. I liked that they had a water cooler for filling up bottle at reception, however wouldn't stay again.

We stayed in Vang Vieng for nights and we decided to stay at Tmark Resort. We were impressed with our first step into their lobby. Nice view of the mountain as a lobby background. A warm welcome from the reception staff upon arrival. A porter staff helped us to carry our bags, he was so polite and helpful. Another ”WOW” in this resort is the view from our room. The room was spacious and in good condition. They also provide a free shuttle van to the town but we preferred to stay and enjoy our time in the resort. We tried their food at the restaurant for dinner and the food was delicious at a reasonable price. In the morning, we went to their breakfast and there were plenty of choices. We saw a good mix of European and Asian guests. Yummy bakery items and fresh noodles were included. Smooth checking out and we will be back again for sure.
Offers good value for money accommodation services with food and beverage services. The guesthouse is located at Highway 13, Vang vieng to Vientiane highway entrance, not far from the gas station, about one kilometer to vang vieng main street, free pick up and drop off service is available.

I just went to Vangrong on a business trip. I saw a sign of ”Sichuan and Chongqing People” on Highway 13, so I went in to ask and found that many Chinese people live here. The environment is very good, with independent bathroom and air conditioning. You can see hot air balloons and paragliders and the sun rising and setting nearby every day. The most important thing is that the boss and his wife are very enthusiastic, and you can also eat authentic Sichuan cuisine, which is very good👍🏻

DDaniel MaximilianBeautiful boutique hotel with amazing views across the river to the stunning mountains.
Rooms are nicely decorated with different local Lao culture items and a nice terrace and balcony respectively to enjoy the views.
Spa is located right at the river front and several different packages are offered. Very enjoyable to relax in the afternoon.
Staff is nice and welcoming. Breakfast is great with nice views. Food offered at dinner is nice but was missing something.
Hotel is a bit dated but overall impression is very nice. Would definitely stay again.
GGuest UserVangvieng, Laos, a resort hidden in the mountains and forests, Laos Jin Champa Garden Resort, is well-deserved, the air is very good, the environment is very beautiful, it can be seen that the boss’s aesthetics is first-rate, I heard that it was invested by a boss from Jiangsu, there are The Chinese staff, don’t worry about the language barrier, also recommended hot air balloons, paragliders and off-road vehicles. You can help call a tuk-tuk and it's very convenient to go to town. The service was excellent. Had a great time. It was an experience that I still couldn’t get enough of, and I want to come again with my family.
GGuest UserWe are staying here on a Trip a Deal trip from Australia. We have been very pleasantly surprised by the quality of the hotel. Rooms are clean and spacious with stunning views of the mountains. There is a fabulous pool to swim in and breakfast is great. Air con and hot water both worked well in our rooms. Highly recommend this hotel.
KKemoabetsweThe hotel was in a great location.Walkable distance from many eateries .The room and shower was spacious and clean .The breakfast was a delicious traditional breakfast .The pancakes were really good . I didn’t get to experience the pool but it looked very clean .I would come back again .
IItsm3jennyI recently stayed at Lisha Hotel, and unfortunately, it was a disappointing experience. The bathroom had a constant foul odor, and the plumbing system was a nightmare. Every time I took a shower, the water would flood all over the bathroom, reaching the toilet and sink. To make matters worse, there was a big gaping hole under the sink that allowed lizards and bugs to come into my room, which was unacceptable. Despite claiming to be a four-star hotel, Lisha Hotel fell far short of that standard. I would rate it as a two-star hotel at best, and I would give it a mere one star based on my experience. The staff at the hotel were not helpful at all. They lacked English language skills and were unfriendly. When I asked about train tickets, they claimed it was all sold out, even though I later found out that I could easily purchase them at the train station myself. Their misinformation and unhelpful attitude made my experience in Laos very difficult, and it has left me with no desire to visit the country again. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend booking at Lisha Hotel. The foul odor, plumbing issues, lack of cleanliness, unhelpful staff, and poor customer service are not reflective of a four-star hotel, and it did not meet my expectations. I would advise looking for alternative accommodations to avoid similar disappointments during your stay in Laos.
MMengyoudaoshimianIt is a relatively good hotel in Vang Vieng. There are not many rooms. The rooms in small villas are easier to live in. Many people who cannot book a room during the holidays borrow the balcony sofa to take pictures. The hotel restaurant is very good. The only drawback is that it is not a high-star hotel. , so there is no bathtub in the room, and there is no swimming pool in the hotel. If you are not staying in the hotel, it is also a very good choice to have pizza. 😬
HHuadadaFacilities: The facilities are basically perfect! The scenery outside the window is very good!
Service: Breakfast is egg bread ➕ instant coffee
Hygienic: not very clean! It feels like no one has stayed for a long time! A layer of dust! There are spider webs! There is a gap with the picture
GGuest UserWe stayed at Sansan for 4 nights and it was the most relaxing time we’ve had during our time travelling. There is a lovely pool area and the hotel itself is set away from the main road so it is very peaceful. The breakfast is quite simple and the same each day but overall good. The rooms are lovely and big and we had an amazing view over the field that backs onto the hotel grounds. We rented a moped for 150kip for the day which seemed the same as the town. The hotel is about a 10 minute walk into the town centre, via what feels like a dusty carpark. It also doubled up as a market. Overall I would highly recommend Sansan as a relaxing stay in Vang Vieng.
JJimmy Ko Kobest location and view. i recommend to upgrade for mountain n river view. otherwise not worth to stay. breakfast is good as well. nearby have everything even walking street market n coffee shop
