Hotels near Nam Song River in Vang Vieng

First of all, close to everything, located on a very quiet street! We had a wonderful corner room, very bright, with nice view over the town and the lovely mountains. Staff is super sweet! The guy who is in charge at front desk is very very helpful and speaks excellent English. The hotel is a bit run down but very clean and good beds, hot shower, good WiFi. We did not use the pool, the water there looked so so. Breakfast okay, ask and they will give you what you want. Need tickets etc, they will fix it. You can pay with card. We had a very nice time!

Excellent hotel with affable service staff always willing to help. Very clean, well decorated, nice rooftop bar for sundowners with an excellent view of the city (including the hotair balloons. Within reach of main transport arteries in the town, restaurants, curio shops, markets, and other tourism/entertainment related amenities. Big hotel in downtown​ of vangvieng near the market fair and night market, i been there and book room with balcony, the room clean​,​ but TV can turn on, no singnal,​staff look friendly,​somebody can't speak lao or English, but reservation​ check in us, she nice and speak English​ well, i arrival​there so late almost midnight but she standby there, thank you so much

Based on the online pictures and reviews we thought we were getting a real deal. The price point was less than $20usd a night. In reality, this is a less than $20 a night kind of hotel, not an amazing discounted deal. The pool and view are it's only redeeming features. The reception area is basic, although the staff do know some English. The design is a real concrete block style. The room is lacking any decor, just the bed (which is particularly hard) and a dark outdated bathroom without screen or curtain for the shower. The hotel is about 10mins walk from town, as expected, although if I had my time again I would stay more central. The hotel didn't appear to do breakfast (despite this being an option on Agoda) so it's quite a walk to the closest place for sometime eat. (Naked expresso is the pick for a coffee!) The pool was sparkly clean (and granted the rooms were clean), and the view to the mountains was lovely. I liked that they had a water cooler for filling up bottle at reception, however wouldn't stay again.

Though the hotel room looked a bit worn, the wonderful service from the 2 hotel staff at the reception were commendable. They were very helpful when we needed assistance to find a doctor. Thank you very much.

Location: China-Laos high-speed rail, get out of Vang Vieng Station, take a TUTU car, LAK 100,000, about 40 RMB, ten minutes by car. By the NamSong River, it is a small courtyard of its own. It is not big, but it is well maintained. The flowers and trees are neat, the facilities are complete and clean, and it is very quiet. Looking at the mountain scenery in the distance, I can’t help but feel like I’m in a daze[**]

Excellent service from Duke and his team. The resort has a floating pool where we relaxed most of the day and get a massage here as there isn’t any proper massage in Vang Vieng town. The location is kinda remote by the Nam Ngum lake which is about 45mins away from the town hence more suitable if you want a getaway. The restaurant serves great food and selection but breakfast is basic though. The villas are also minimalistic and eco friendly, and comes with a lake view. There are quite abit of flies and bugs since it’s by the lake. Unfortunately we couldn’t try the jet ski as it’s not the right season, otherwise sanctuary would have been the perfect spot for relaxing with some activities!

Pick-up service: great and prompt. Hygiene: Hygiene is very good and the room is clean. Service: Pick-up and drop-off service in the city: good and in place The hotel has complete facilities, including swimming pool, gym, etc., which is very convenient. The hotel's breakfast is very rich, with all kinds of food, and the taste is very good. The overall impression of the hotel is very good and it is a highly recommended accommodation choice.

100% recommended if you come to Vang Vieng! The location of the hotel is perfect, you have the night market, morning market and bus station really close walking. You also have the train station at 40 min walking We stayed in the atic apartment and was amazing. Huge beautiful apartment with amazing balcony and views of Vang Vieng mountains. You can see the sunset and air balloons from the bed The facilities are also really good! You have a really nice bar where the food is delicious ( also the breakfast ), swimming pool and the staff is so kind and helpful A must in Vang Vieng 💯
