Hotels Near Nam Song River in Vang Vieng

Dreamy view from the room if you get the villas, otherwise rooms are in the back, of the rice paddies, food is mediocre and on the pricey side, i wouldn’t have mind if it was delicious, but views were gorgeous but do take note that the paddies are not year round, make sure you visit when the fields are green, room is good for 2 people, since it is not that big, a bit of a walk from the city center/ restaurants! But if you enjoy walking up with a view, and love taking nice pictures, this is the hotel for you

The hotel is very nice, with friendly staff and a good breakfast. They also have a rooftop bar which is great for watching the sunset. You can see balloons, paramotors, and other interesting sights from there. We'll definitely be coming back again!

I found it quite nice to stay here. The hotel offers a comfortable stay with clean bedroom, bathroom with good water system, lovely view of the mountain from the bedroom's balcony, convenient access to the river cruise, and most of all.... affordable price. Oh, the breakfast choice is generous as well.

We are staying here on a Trip a Deal trip from Australia. We have been very pleasantly surprised by the quality of the hotel. Rooms are clean and spacious with stunning views of the mountains. There is a fabulous pool to swim in and breakfast is great. Air con and hot water both worked well in our rooms. Highly recommend this hotel.

The Phubarn hotel was one of the best hotels of our trip to Laos. It was recently built or renovated, has a well trained and forthcoming staff with moderate to exzellent command of English. . The room was very clean, well equipped with a wonderful view on the mountains. Breakfast was very good, both Chinese and European Continental. The pool is great, with a waterfall and a great view. The only setback is the direct view on the Nam Song river, where often the motorboats with the tourists pass by. But this is offset by the superb view and modernity of the hotel. It is also situated in the vicinity of many pubs and travel agencies. All in all it it great value for money and may be on the way to become the No.1 hotel in Vang Vienh.

I had an incredible experience staying at Amari Vang Vieng. The hotel is beautifully designed and provides a peaceful atmosphere. One of the highlights of my stay was witnessing the sunrise with breathtaking views surrounded by balloons from the balcony. The room was spacious and clean, and the swimming pool was another plus, allowing me to relax and enjoy the views. The restaurant next to the pool offers delicious food, I highly recommend it! The breakfast was amazing, with a large variety of dishes that were very tasty. Overall, I had an unforgettable experience, and I highly recommend Amari Vang Vieng to anyone visiting this lovely town.

We stayed in Vang Vieng for nights and we decided to stay at Tmark Resort. We were impressed with our first step into their lobby. Nice view of the mountain as a lobby background. A warm welcome from the reception staff upon arrival. A porter staff helped us to carry our bags, he was so polite and helpful. Another ”WOW” in this resort is the view from our room. The room was spacious and in good condition. They also provide a free shuttle van to the town but we preferred to stay and enjoy our time in the resort. We tried their food at the restaurant for dinner and the food was delicious at a reasonable price. In the morning, we went to their breakfast and there were plenty of choices. We saw a good mix of European and Asian guests. Yummy bakery items and fresh noodles were included. Smooth checking out and we will be back again for sure.

We chose to stay here as our hostel in Vientiane recommended it. We only planned to stay for two night but ended up extending another 3 nights. It’s in a great location. The room was big and spacious and were cleaned everyday for us with fresh towels. Min and Dat at the front desk were excellent. Anything we needed whether it was the hot air balloon ticket, taxi or train ticket they were always so helpful and kind. Absolutely no issue with this place and for the price it was great.

The location of the hotel is just by the river with great view and an easy access to the town. The garden is large and beautiful, it's much quieter than stay in town.The staffs are all very friendly and helpful, they not not picked us from station for free, but also arrange shuttle service all the time.Really recommended!

After the meal, make a cup of mellow Laos coffee, sit by the river, listen to the gurgling water, watch the birds singing and the fragrance of flowers, watch exciting rafting, and feel the beauty of nature; The boss is a very nice Suzhou native. He has been in Laos for many years and manages the villa very carefully. He also took us to visit villages and primary schools in Laos to discover the real life of Laotians. After learning that we were Chinese compatriots, they were even more hospitable. They not only helped us keep our leftover belongings properly, but also arranged for people to take them back to China and send them home for us, which made us truly realize that ‘Laos is not that far away’. Laos is a country worth visiting, and Kim Champa Garden Resort is a must-visit accommodation choice in Vang Vieng. highly recommended!
