Vang Vieng Diamond Resort

We stayed in this hotel in Vangrong for three nights. First of all, the location is about 1 km away from the town... It's about a 20-minute walk... It's not easy to walk on the dusty village road, and it's full of puddles and mud when it rains... If you call a taxi, it's 50,000 each time... It's actually not cheap. Second, the hotel environment... The hotel environment is okay... There are always staff to maintain and clean the public areas... We wanted to swim in the swimming pool the next day, but found that it was under maintenance and could not be used. We could also see hot air balloons in the evening. Third, the facilities in the room are relatively basic... The shower is very high... You have to climb in... The bathroom is a bit smelly... But the space is still relatively spacious... It's not crowded for three people. Fourth, there is basically nothing to eat for breakfast... We only ate a little on the first day. Summary: The room for more than 100 yuan is just like this... The local area is relatively backward... The facilities are dilapidated

Very bad experience, first of all, the front desk staff. I called to confirm whether they can speak English, but when I got to the store, they didn't understand English or Chinese. Even when I used translation software to translate for them, they didn't quite understand... The hotel cleaned the room. We told the front desk to clean it before we went out, and they agreed. After we came back, it was still not cleaned. The water in the swimming pool was not very clean. The reason why I booked here was because their room was different from the photos, completely different. There are ants in the room... The sheets are pilling, the bed is uncomfortable, you can feel the springs... The point is... It's very noisy, there's no management, and there's no time limit for the use of the swimming pool... It's very noisy at 6 or 7 in the morning, people are playing in the pool, children are crying, and adults are chatting loudly... There's no way to rest at all... The hotel should set a time when the swimming pool cannot be used, so that guests can sleep... I bought a cup of instant noodles in the lobby, and found out it was expired... I was too lazy to return it... My suggestion to the hotel is that since it is a hotel facing guests from all over the world, it should at least have a universal language. The popularity of Lao is too low, and non-locals really don't understand it... The front desk can speak basic English, which I think is necessary.
