I had an incredible experience staying at Amari Vang Vieng. The hotel is beautifully designed and provides a peaceful atmosphere. One of the highlights of my stay was witnessing the sunrise with breathtaking views surrounded by balloons from the balcony. The room was spacious and clean, and the swimming pool was another plus, allowing me to relax and enjoy the views. The restaurant next to the pool offers delicious food, I highly recommend it! The breakfast was amazing, with a large variety of dishes that were very tasty. The location of the hotel is just by the river with great view and an easy access to the town. The garden is large and beautiful, it's much quieter than stay in town.The staffs are all very friendly and helpful, they not not picked us from station for free, but also arrange shuttle service all the time.Really recommended!

Beautiful boutique hotel with amazing views across the river to the stunning mountains. Rooms are nicely decorated with different local Lao culture items and a nice terrace and balcony respectively to enjoy the views. Spa is located right at the river front and several different packages are offered. Very enjoyable to relax in the afternoon. Staff is nice and welcoming. Breakfast is great with nice views. Food offered at dinner is nice but was missing something. Hotel is a bit dated but overall impression is very nice. Would definitely stay again.

Great location and friendly staff. We found many insects during our stay, which is understandable given Vang Vieng is pretty much surrounded by jungle and it was a rainy night. However, we were waken up by a GIANT cockroach, and there were no staff or housekeeper to handle the situation in the middle of the night, so we have to handle it ourselves. Breakfast was nice and you get to enjoy it on the river bank is a plus.

Amazing place to stay, best view, the food in their restaurant is so good. Good location to the bar, night market... You should book the tours and activities with them, even laundry, the price is surprising good, even cheaper than the travel agency out there. I like the swimming pool a lot as well. Only the thing that i dont like is the AC, 1 room was too hot, 1 room was too cold.

This is a gem of a resort! We still talk about our stay here. Probably, one of the best pools I've been in. The views are incredible, the breakfast is sumptuous, the rooms are exceptional, and the spa is fantastic! The ONLY drawback I can think of is the (approx 15 min) walk back from the center of town (we felt very safe!) Getting to town center is not an issue as they have a shuttle service (5-7 drive) But if that is not an issue for you, then just go and stay here and you will not regret it

The best thing is that the boss is Singapore Chinese, the hotel has a swimming pool, the room is small, it feels a bit black, everything else is good, Wan Rong is very small, so the location is not important, he is in the middle of the place, the room can not smoke, but Smoking chairs and tables on each floor

This is a lovely hotel with well appointed and clean, comfortable rooms. My room was on the fourth floor and even though I didn't have a balcony, I still had wonderful mountain views from the window (404). The manager and staff are all very friendly and helpful. I actually extended my stay here as I was so chilled! The breakfast is simple but plentyful and the location is close to the restaurants and bars in town and the river. The rooftop bar is also great and again has great views of the mountains, especially at sunset. Thank you for a lovely stay!

The hotel has large, clean rooms, but the toilet design is not suitable. When showering, water spills onto the bathroom floor. The storage shelf above the toilet is inconvenient. The glassware and cups are not very clean. On the positive side, the manager speaks Vietnamese fluently and can communicate well in English, Chinese, and Lao. The hotel is 700 meters from the night streets, making it convenient for travel. However, the provided drinking water has a very small volume. I think the hotel only needs to refine some design and cleanliness aspects to be worthy of a 5-star rating. This review does not mean the hotel is bad—in general, for someone easygoing like me, it's okay. The staff is incredibly friendly, and the breakfast is clean and delicious.

The front desk does not speak Chinese, but some individual staff members can speak Chinese. The scenery is nice. If you are just going on vacation, you can consider it.
