From arrival we were greeted by a hotel receptionist who didn’t seem interested to help us , without getting my name or details she said come back in 10 minutes your rooms not ready. I had family staying at the chalets and those receptionists were just as rude and incompetent. The next morning I complained to the receptionist about the room number 326 being insufficient for a queen room , it had a smaller bed than the standard room , the shower was leaking from the fitment on the wall , the shower handle cover was loose , the walls had scuffs on it , the mirror in the bathroom was also loose. All this I mentioned to the white guy at reception , he said he would attend to it , I returned back to the hotel at 11pm and was too tired to complain about it again. My brothers room downstairs 209 wreaked of paint and some chemicals it was disappointing. I’ve stayed at emerald before the renovations and I must say it had more character back then , might not have been modern but the rooms were really value for money , these new renovations were cheaply done and you can see there was ZERO quality control.
