"We stayed three nights at the Paradox Hotel. The hotel's location is very central. It is within walking distance of the Harbourfront and many other nearby attractions and restaurants. It's a short Uber ride from Gastown and Stanley Park, and there's a farmers market within walking distance on Saturdays. We loved the hotel because the staff was friendly and it was easy to get around. Valet is CAD 50 per night and well worth it. There is also free bike and scooter rental at the hotel. The best part is that there is both an indoor pool and an outdoor hot tub. The indoor pool area serves as a nightclub at night and a swimming pool in the morning. The room is spacious, clean, and meticulously maintained."

"As others have noted, there is a club next door that is open Fridays and Saturdays. You don't know this until you arrive and the ear plugs they give you are not the best. It didn't really bother us as we were so tired from travelling across country and exploring Vancouver all day, but to anyone just coming in, you might not be getting the best night's sleep."

"My hubby & i arrived past 10pm for check in. Checking in was not easy as I forgot my credit card & d front desk girl w/ an Eastern Europe accent said that she can’t check me in unless i present a credit card for a $100 deposit + resort fees. I said I paid for d room already but she won’t hear of it unless i present a cred.card. My friend volunteered to use her card for security deposit. Checked out early AM before 7am with Pramila & Anshu behind d desk to help. I informed Pramila of my cc situation & she was just so pleasantly helpful to facilitate d things i need for my upcoming check in in d next 3days. Pramila made my day. I wish there are more enployees like her who’s willing to go above & beyond her work to help a stressed senior tourist. I am also lucky to have a dear friend to come to d rescue. All’s well that ends well. God bless Pramila."

"The hotel boasts an excellent location. We took public transport from the airport, and it was just a 6-minute walk from the stop to the hotel. Our room was spacious, offering a pleasant street view from the window. What really impressed us was that the front desk staff spoke Chinese. They were incredibly welcoming and provided detailed recommendations for sightseeing and essential tips for exploring Vancouver independently. Absolutely fantastic!"

"We had an evening arrival flight and arrived at the hotel close to midnight. The lady at checkin counter was not in good mood and not very friendly. The next day happened to be the Canada national holiday and the concierge seems to be busy. His manner is even worse and not very happy working on a holiday obviously. My question is very simple like what to do as a new comer in the city on this national holiday and his answer even much simpler. Both had poker faces and not very friendly and not willing to answer questions."

"Had a great stay. Location was a short walk to the venue we were attending. Close to False Creek sea wall walking path, great way to hang out and kill time before our event. Safe, gated overnight parking garage was invaluable, didn't have to worry about vehicle and Belongings."

"The hotel is conveniently located right above Canada Place. Stanley Park, FlyOver Canada, and the Gastown Steam Clock are all within walking distance, and there are plenty of excellent restaurants nearby. The cruise ship terminal is situated right downstairs, making it a lively and bustling area. We booked a club room, which offered stunning high-floor harbor views and access to the 23rd-floor lounge. While the room amenities were a bit dated, the service was exceptionally attentive and thoughtful. This level of dedicated service is particularly commendable in North America, and I highly recommend staying here!"

"They only serve breakfast and dinner if you are dining in the hotel. Food and service is good. If you are looking to just stay and travel out around and just come back to a place to stay, this hotel is considerably reasonable."

"We loved this place, very friendly and caring owner and manager who made sure we were taken care of before we moved in and after check out. The condo is very strategically located in Vancouver, easy access to all areas by public transport or walking. Good view from the condo. There is a very big oriental supermarket and Costco nearby. Great for grocery shopping; we had everything in the kitchen for home cooked meals too. Chinatown is within walking distance, plenty of food in the area from all international cuisines."
