Very nice hotel, not too noisy in the city center, clean and tidy, good service attitude, spacious and bright. Will book this next business trip. Highly recommend friends who give the line.

<Fairmont Grand Vancouver> is also a hotel managed by Fairmont. Fairmont has always been the best at managing old castle hotels. The Fairmont Empress in Victoria, Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise in Banff, and the Peace Hotel in Shanghai, which I introduced to you before, are all castle hotels managed by Fairmont.
The hotel is located in a landmark building in Vancouver. The exterior is a bit like the Peace Hotel in Shanghai, and it is also a castle-style building. There are many doors designed to the outside, about four or five.
Because it is located in the city center, four or five doors can lead to the main road. The side door is decorated with new chandeliers and simple furniture as a waiting room. In addition, the door for parking and dropping off passengers also uses new chandeliers, various leather sofas, and a coffee table made of suitcases.
Take the elevator to the room. The space is not very large, with two large beds. Because it is a family of five, we booked the room in advance, so we arranged two rooms with a connecting door in the middle so that we can take care of each other. Opposite the big bed is a floor cabinet with a refrigerator. However, the refrigerator is a contact design. Once the beverage is taken out, the fee will be automatically deducted.
Overall, although the area is not large, it is still quite comfortable to live in. The bathroom is a little small, and it looks not well maintained. Looking out of the window, you can see the Vancouver Cathedral. Because it is in the city center, the night view is very beautiful and the view is great.
Although the hotel is a bit old, it is well maintained. When you come to the lobby, one door faces the street and the other door faces the interior of the hotel. The first floor is mostly rented to luxury brands, which is equivalent to stepping into the lobby and visiting many luxury stores. When you get tired of shopping, turn around and go out to the street, which is the center of Vancouver. There are countless high-end brand stores within a radius of 50 meters, and you can't finish shopping. Whether it is the heritage of historical buildings or the geographical location, it is unique. The most important thing is that you can choose to delay payment when booking a room.
When I first placed an order, the room price was 3,500 per night, but when I was about to leave for Vancouver, I looked at the price and it dropped to 2,500. Fortunately, I chose to delay payment, and I checked out immediately and placed a new order. The original total room rate of more than 7,000 yuan ended up costing more than 5,000 yuan, saving a lot of money. You know, five-star hotels in Vancouver are very expensive, basically starting at 3,000 or 4,000 yuan, but this one can be bought for 2,500 yuan, which is very cost-effective.
Secondly, the hotel management is very good. We arrived at the hotel before 10 o'clock in the morning. In theory, we couldn't check in yet, and we were ready to go out after storing our luggage. As a result, when we checked in, we were told that the room had been cleaned up, which was really a surprise.
Overall, Fairmont Hotel Vancouver is a cost-effective choice. The check-in experience is very good, and the location is impeccable. It is recommended to stay.

The hotel has a five-star style, and the rooms are very nice and have a terrace. The hotel facilities are clean and fresh. The hotel's breakfast is available on request. The food is good and worth trying.

I booked a double bed but when I got to the hotel, the front desk told me that I booked a single bed. I contacted Ctrip customer service and they said there might be a problem with the middleman. I refunded some money, but I won't book overseas hotels on Ctrip anymore because it affects my schedule and mood. Although the front desk kindly gave me a small folding bed, it was too uncomfortable for a family of four to sleep on. Nice hotel with beautiful location and scenery

The hotel is located in a very nice location, we got a great view from our room. We were not very happy with the service though, as we arrived at the hotel, we weren’t greeted even though there were 3 people working at the valet nobody directed us where to park. I made eye contact with them but they just continued on chatting. Parking is also quite expensive ($45/ night for self-parking).

This hotel is best for cruise travel, because it is the nearest place for departure and arrival in Vancouver. Not only for cruise travel, but also the downtown and commerical area in Vancouver. The travel places which include Stanley Park ,conventional centre and gas town. The skytrain is just on the side of the hotel, you can use the sky train the other regions of Vancouver.
I lived 4 nights there with my wife, they cannot provide free parking space for their guest. So that you cannot ask your friend come to visit you in the hotel. The view is the best from your hotel room. I can see the crusies in and out of the harbour and also see the seaplanes flying on the sky and landing on the sea bay. The charge for seaplane of the Vancouver city tour is 199 for each single person, but just half an hour.
This hotel can provde you gym facilities and swimming pool. I recommend you to first time in Vancouver on this hotel.

I booked a room for 3 persons. The location is in downtown, walkable distance to many places in Vancouver and right next to the shuttle to the suspension bridge, very close to the subway as well (but not the Canada line). The check-in process takes time as so many people in the line while the check-in staff is only 1 or 2. The elevator here is quite tricky for unfamiliar tourists like me, which the staff should have given us information at the check-in counter prior to use it. We got the high-floor room which is impressive for the view.

We have a bad experience with St. Regis. We told the front desk to help us to book a big taxi for 4 people to take us to airport in early morning, but the staff didn't mark it properly, when we double checked the 2nd time, the order wasn't there and turned out a small taxi came and they needed to reorder a big one for us.
They mixed up the room charge, it was remarked to pay at the hotel, first time the staff gave us the wrong info that both rooms were already charged to my card. Then the next day, they said it was not charged yet, we told them we paid by different credit cards, but when we checked out, they charged both rooms on my card without my permission. Finally, they cancelled 1 room payment and charge it back to my friend's card. This is very unprofessional and I haven't received my statement yet and not sure if they really cancelled the wrong payment.

I have some concerns regarding my experience at The Sutton Hotel. Firstly, I noticed that the front desk staff didn't seem very patient or eager to assist Chinese guests like myself. This made me feel somewhat unwelcome.
Secondly, I found the hotel rooms to be quite dusty, despite our efforts to keep them clean. Surprisingly, the dust accumulated rapidly on the bedside table and telephone. I suspect that the air inside the room might be the cause of this issue, as even the air conditioning panel appeared to be covered in dust.
I believe these observations are worth addressing by the hotel management to improve the overall experience for all guests, regardless of their nationality. It would be beneficial if steps were taken to enhance the cleanliness of the rooms and ensure a more welcoming and accommodating atmosphere for all visitors.

GGuest UserMy husband and I stayed overnight in Vancouver to see a hockey game. The hotel is close to many amazing restaurants within walking distance. It is also close to Rogers Stadium so that is always nice so we don’t have to pay for parking or cabs.
The staff were amazing and accommodating as we’d asked to have a room with a balcony, which they were able to do. We had dinner out but had brunch in their restaurant which is on the 5th floor. The atmosphere was so magical, all decorated for Christmas but it was also warm and inviting.
For whatever reason (maybe bcause it was a Tuesday morning) we were the only ones in the restaurant until half way through our brunch, then only one other couple shared the dining room with us. The food was INCREDIBLE and our server Lee was the sweetest most kind person I’ve ever meet. After our brunch we sat by the fireplace with our coffees, relaxing before our 12 pm checkout. It felt like we were in a Manhattan brownstone. We will definitely be coming back in the future and certainly will recommend this hotel to our friends. Staying at LHermitage was an oasis in the midst of a very hard 3 weeks of me just having lost my mom. Thank you 🎄❤️

JJohnMarkRAs everything in Vancouver, it’s expensive. But it was a quality stay here. Super friendly staff, clean and big room. The outside pool is small but nice to cool off in. The sauna works great. Gym area is small but can do the job. Location is great, Tim’s & Liquor Store right next door, bike rental, restaurants etc all nearby. Also not as many “Zombies” on the street in this area.. felt pretty safe here. The Water Faucet in the shower was los and kept falling off was the only downside of the room.. acceptable. If you got money, recommend the stay here and stay away from Gastown, Chinatown etc.. those areas are hella scary these days,

BBen Tiong LeongWe booked a junior suite with access to the club lounge. The suite was ok, not exactly huge as we had to lay our second cabin sized suitcase in the living area, which by the way did not have a door between it and the bedroom.
The club lounge was very average, not exactly club like as there were kids, babies and toddlers as well as adults in singlets and shorts. Soft beverages were available as were snacks but alcohol had to be purchased. Pretty average compared to other club lounge in terms of the breakfast. We should have gone with a std room and bought breakfast outside .

BBetty CCCWe only stayed for one night. It had two bedrooms, one living room and one bathroom. The space was very comfortable and fully equipped like a home, with microwaves, coffee machines, instant pots, stoves, refrigerators, desks, etc.
There is a TV in each room and the living room. There are makeup mirrors and bedside tables in the bedrooms, and floor-to-ceiling windows. The scenery outside the windows is very good.
The bed was very soft. I originally thought it would be too soft to sleep on, but I ended up having a good sleep until dawn. It was very comfortable.
The location is great and very convenient for shopping. There are many stores downstairs where you can buy food. There are McDonald's, Japanese ramen, and Zhenzhudan across the street~
The Chinese restaurant next door to Zhen Zhu Dan also has great food. The boss is very polite and will chat with you and recommend delicious meals to you.

AanzhuzhuVery good location at a great price! Highly recommend this place especially with amazing staff and daily housekeeping! The building itself is definitely slightly aged, but it's evident that the current management/owners are doing their best to improve the facilities.
The good - affordable coin laundry, communal kitchen, very big rooms, amazing rooftop patio and sauna, impeccable location in Vancouver downtown
The not so good - no breakfast options, communal kitchen's own pots and pans look iffy, slightly aged facilities (but the communal areas are definitely renovated in recent years)
Will stay again if I'm ever in that area!

GGuest UserWe stayed only for one night, the room was clean, bathroom delightfully equipped with towels and other accessories.
Since the hotel is in city center (limited parking)
the hotel offers overnight parking with extra cost and free valet service which is very convenient if you do not want to miss any fun and action in Vancouver downtown.Staff is professional, polite and friendly. There is adjacent restaurant with entrance right from the hotel lobby where you can have meals with 25% guest discount. I would stay in this hotel next time again.

GGavin AndrewSuite with one bed in a room, two beds in the main room which is an open studio to a kitchen. Small balcony too!
Great location at the end of Robson Street so can walk into the action, but still fairly quiet.
Prob want to open the windows to air the room out a bit after cleaning, but perfectly fine.
Watch out for small charges. We didn't hit any tripwires, but there is a 2.4% charge for credit card and clean up fees if you leave dirty dishes and such. So don't leave in a hurry!
Check in and check out was quick. The hotel doesn't seem to have facilities, but when you have a kitchen in the room, quite OK!
Would def go again. Note that the old hotel name is still on the front, so don't be confused. Worked out fine.

LLillian LoThe transportation is convenient, but there is a bar downstairs, and the sound insulation is not good. People who are afraid of noise may not be able to sleep. There are only stairs and you need to carry your luggage upstairs.
