I booked a double bed but when I got to the hotel, the front desk told me that I booked a single bed. I contacted Ctrip customer service and they said there might be a problem with the middleman. I refunded some money, but I won't book overseas hotels on Ctrip anymore because it affects my schedule and mood. Although the front desk kindly gave me a small folding bed, it was too uncomfortable for a family of four to sleep on. Nice hotel with beautiful location and scenery

<Fairmont Grand Vancouver> is also a hotel managed by Fairmont. Fairmont has always been the best at managing old castle hotels. The Fairmont Empress in Victoria, Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise in Banff, and the Peace Hotel in Shanghai, which I introduced to you before, are all castle hotels managed by Fairmont. The hotel is located in a landmark building in Vancouver. The exterior is a bit like the Peace Hotel in Shanghai, and it is also a castle-style building. There are many doors designed to the outside, about four or five. Because it is located in the city center, four or five doors can lead to the main road. The side door is decorated with new chandeliers and simple furniture as a waiting room. In addition, the door for parking and dropping off passengers also uses new chandeliers, various leather sofas, and a coffee table made of suitcases. Take the elevator to the room. The space is not very large, with two large beds. Because it is a family of five, we booked the room in advance, so we arranged two rooms with a connecting door in the middle so that we can take care of each other. Opposite the big bed is a floor cabinet with a refrigerator. However, the refrigerator is a contact design. Once the beverage is taken out, the fee will be automatically deducted. Overall, although the area is not large, it is still quite comfortable to live in. The bathroom is a little small, and it looks not well maintained. Looking out of the window, you can see the Vancouver Cathedral. Because it is in the city center, the night view is very beautiful and the view is great. Although the hotel is a bit old, it is well maintained. When you come to the lobby, one door faces the street and the other door faces the interior of the hotel. The first floor is mostly rented to luxury brands, which is equivalent to stepping into the lobby and visiting many luxury stores. When you get tired of shopping, turn around and go out to the street, which is the center of Vancouver. There are countless high-end brand stores within a radius of 50 meters, and you can't finish shopping. Whether it is the heritage of historical buildings or the geographical location, it is unique. The most important thing is that you can choose to delay payment when booking a room. When I first placed an order, the room price was 3,500 per night, but when I was about to leave for Vancouver, I looked at the price and it dropped to 2,500. Fortunately, I chose to delay payment, and I checked out immediately and placed a new order. The original total room rate of more than 7,000 yuan ended up costing more than 5,000 yuan, saving a lot of money. You know, five-star hotels in Vancouver are very expensive, basically starting at 3,000 or 4,000 yuan, but this one can be bought for 2,500 yuan, which is very cost-effective. Secondly, the hotel management is very good. We arrived at the hotel before 10 o'clock in the morning. In theory, we couldn't check in yet, and we were ready to go out after storing our luggage. As a result, when we checked in, we were told that the room had been cleaned up, which was really a surprise. Overall, Fairmont Hotel Vancouver is a cost-effective choice. The check-in experience is very good, and the location is impeccable. It is recommended to stay.
