Nice hotel and service are good

Our overall experience was exceptional. Our extremely knowledgeable Butler Naajah assisted with every request, he offered a genuine smile and was always good conversation. We visited every single food outlet on the property as our visit was around 10 days. The Italian restaurant- fiamma was really good for lunch Helpful waiters Zaheer, Nazlaan Was attentive, and helpful not to mention the foods options was great. We did Isla for dinner Waiter Nabeel and Vino definitely stood out with their knowledge and genuine enthusiastic personality. Towards the end of my trip I sadly fell and broke my finger. Although it was extremely unfortunate the staff was incredibly helpful throughout this process of sending me to the hospital for X-rays. The onsite clinic was well kitted made me feel at ease. A big thanks for Ali captain Zuney captain Swathi nurse Vishnu you are one of a kind. Your kind gentle soul will forever be remembered. Thank you for your classes and amazing service. Probably one of the most beautiful vacations we’ve been on. The highlight being the staff on the resort.

My husband and I just returned from a week at the JW Marriott Maldives celebrating our 10 year anniversary. The property, staff, food, ambiance and overall vibe of this resort exceeded ALL of our expectations. We stayed in an overwater sunset villa that was spacious, comfortable, well appointed and spotless each day with the help of our housekeeper, Mauman. We used the pool on the patio of our villa daily, as well as snorkeled off the patio every afternoon. We saw eagle rays, nurse sharks, manta rays and a ton of fish. The weather was beautiful during our stay, and we took advantage of the spa on the day that it rained. My massage with Damcho was easily the best massage I've ever had - book with her! We tried almost all of the restaurants and the food was wonderful at each place. We also booked the wine dinner with Lahiru and we're so glad we did - amazing wine, food and experience from Lahiru and Chef Bir who even customized the menu for us. The team at the bar was so much fun - Suraj, Arsufal and Kanishka who made great drinks and custom cocktails. Naawish was our butler, and he made the stay 5 stars for us. Restaurant reservations, a dinner on the beach, late checkout arrangements, golf cart rides to the beach - whatever we needed, Naawish was all over it. Overall this was a once in a lifetime trip, and the team at the JW made sure of it!! We can't wait to go back and if you're on the fence about booking the trip go for it - you won't be disappointed!

We had high hopes and usually enjoy the Marriott brand and were super excited for our vacation but the resort definitely fell short of our expectations. Our villa was clean but dated and needed repairs. The attention to detail was not there and the waters were rough and a bit dangerous. Overall we felt pretty disappointed for the price we paid and wish we stayed at a different resort. Marriott definitely needs to work on their customer service too, the ac system also was not functioning properly which was not good and very important. This definitely did not feel like a jw Marriott - I think it’s an okay choice if you have no other options and price is right but we wish we had stayed elsewhere.

They are kind and friendly to our kids as well. Many interesting programs for children at the kids club. Although it was not a perfect weather, beautiful scenery and beach. Just one thing sad happened was that we couldn’t find our jacket we left in our room with our luggage.
