Lovely hotel: a tyoical alpine architecture with modern design pieces. The entrance to the thermae worked very well. I can see why others have commented on the lack of friendliness: the waitress in the restaurant seemed always most confused by our requests

Das Personal war überaus freundlich und zuvorkommend. Das Frühstück war umfangreich und die Produkte waren lecker. Das Brot war ausserordentlich luftig und knusprig. Das Hotel ist sehr "heimelig" und wirklich zu empfehlen. Der Hammer!

Nous nous sommes rendus à Val pour ses célèbres thermes et nous avons choisi de passer la nuit dans ce typique hôtel suisse car le prix était plus bas par rapport à celui de l’établissement thermal. Le prix comprenait les entrées aux thermes le jour de l’arrivée et le jour du départ ainsi que le petit-déjeuner. La chambre était spacieuse et très propre. Le petit-déjeuner servi à table copieux et local (en plus du thé ou du café plusieurs sortes de pain et de viennoiseries, du jus d’orange pressées frais, un œuf, du bircher-muesli, d’excellentes confitures et de la charcuterie locale). On a également souper à l’hôtel avec des plats typiques de la région dans une ambiance calme et agréable. L’hôtel dispose d’un parking gratuit.

Check-In: Beim Einchecken sind die Öffnungszeiten zu beachten. Ausserhalb dieser muss man leider warten. Wir bekamen alle nötigen Informationen zum Hotel, Restaurant und den Thermen. Lage: Das Hotel liegt nahe dem Ortskern. Fussläufig ist alles erreichbar und auf der gegenüberliegenden Strassenseite befindet sich ein Volg, bei dem man sich gut für Tagestouren ausstatten kann. Zimmer: Das Zimmer war sehr grosszügig, sauber und gepflegt. Service: Das Personal war freundlich und zuvorkommend. Auf Wünsche und Fragen wurde kompetent und umgehend eingegangen. Essen: Das Frühstück ist nicht vom Buffet. Dafür gibt es eine gute Mischung regionaler Spezialitäten. Fazit: Perfekt um Abzuschalten, sich zu verwöhnen und für Winteraktivitäten.
