Located behind the Valletta government and commercial street, it is a 300-year-old hotel that is not only clean and tidy, but also luxurious and elegant. If the system address is incorrectly located, we will navigate to the 12th. Actually, we will go down another 150 meters to reach the 76th, which is next to the church. Need the agent to send us a 4-digit reservation code, which is the door code, this must be confirmed with Ctrip in advance. The back of the hotel is a bustling pedestrian street. Going right and turning is a few passages that lead to the sea. A 50-meter left turn is a big supermarket.

I stayed 3 nights at the Gomerino. The hotel staff is absolutely fabulous. They help you in all you need instantly.
The staff is 5 star, very kind professionals. The view from the roof top terrace is exceptional, the best view in Valletta. The terrace is incredible.
Unfortunately the room is not reaching my expectations. It’s just very noisy. Every single foot step from above can be heard in your room. So at night and in the morning I felt very disturbed and uncomfortable because of this. I had to call reception several times to ask the above guest to keep it quiet at night. The room is very dark and just not for my taste. The bed was ok I asked a double bed but they supplied my with 2 single mattresses put together.
Thank you for the staff you were fabulous.

The hotel is very comfortable and the location is quite good. One hundred meters away from the city center, the hotel staff is very friendly and especially likes the hotel. It is very rich in the morning and can bring children. I hope that Chinese tourists can whisper a little, can close the door and make a small noise. It is better to think about others. Thank you! The people here are very friendly and there are smiles everywhere.

The hotel is very new, and the first impression of the hardware is very good👍The room is quiet but the service is average. (first four pictures)
I stayed for four nights and only received 2 bottles of water on the first night. They explained that they would only be provided on the first night. Coffee and tea in the mini bar were no longer provided starting from the second night. They explained that they had forgotten it and finally provided them on the fourth day. But the sugar scattered on the table also spilled out (the last two pictures). These two points make the hotel service very cheap!
Also: I really don’t like the old lady in charge of tourist reception at the front desk. I wanted to ask where to take the sightseeing bus, but she didn’t want to answer and instead asked me if I had bought a ticket. Does that mean you bought a ticket before answering?
Breakfast is also good!

The bistro is very nice and elegant. The good attention at all times from the staff stands out, they are very cordial, helpful and always serve you with a smile on their face. Also in terms of food and drinks compared to other accommodations I visited in the same area, I notice that the level is higher, abundant and well served.

Hotel sicuramente da 4 stelle. Per i confort , struttura moderna,personale giovane sempre disponibile.colazione molto buona,comodissimo per muoversi con i mezzi . Camere ampie,nuove,accessoriate di tutto,forse aggiungerei la crema idratante e le pantofole. Fantastica la piscina con sdraio e bar al 10 piano dal quale si ha una vista eccezionale. Unica pecca : pagata la colazione in reception non risultava al ristorante,fatto presente. Anche quello di prelevarti dalla carta senza dirlo prima la cauzione di 50€.tutto senza ricevuta o scontrino.

GGuest UserA little gem in the heart of Valletta, perfectly positioned for sightseeing and relaxing. Tony and his team cannot do enough for you. Smiles from all the team whatever their role. Beds are extremely comfortable and water replenished every day and an early evening knock asking if anything is needed. Staff are knowledgeable about the local area, events and restaurants. They are happy to make bookings on your behalf. Drinks on arrival and an escorted tour of the hotel. The underground spa which is booked for your private use is wonderful as is the rooftop pool and relaxing area. A wonderful 4 night stay. Will definitely recommend 😊

YYuwenTotally beyond my expectation!! From the smiley face welcoming us when we first walked in to the home made turndown macarons to the breakfast (the chef even peeled the tomato skin!); everything impressed me. We stayed two nights in the Casa and it is my first time staying in the Valetta. The hotel focuses on service details!!
Superb location - 10 to 15 mins walk to the bus terminal/ upper and lower Barrakka garden/ the ferry pier with easy access to bars, restaurants, and shops. The building itself is historical and we love the design of the room. The big in-room safe provides extra secure.
But what I love the most is the team. Everyone at the reception and during breakfast service has been super amazing. Special thanks to Peter who performed the room orientation upon check-in, Matthew who assisted me with luggage and escorted me to the uber pick up point upon departure, the pretty lady Sladjana with a big smile and endless jokes that made my day, and Renniel who helped fix the issue of the basin stopper.
Highly recommend Casa Ellul to everyone. Dont miss the wonderful breakfast in the morning!

GGuest UserA hotel that has everything! Located in an excellent location in the heart of the old core of the capital city of Valletta. It is within easy reach of all facilities such as museums, cultural sights, restaurants... As soon as you arrive, you will feel the true spirit of Malta's history and culture. The hotel is decorated in such a way as to maintain an autochthonous and sophisticated look. At the reception you will be greeted by warm and friendly staff and directed to your spacious and clean room. Regardless of the fact that it is in the center, you don't have to be afraid of noise... The windows are high-quality and new, so in combination with very comfortable beds, you will sleep like a baby. For the first time, we had an iron for clothes and an ironing board in the room, which was very helpful after an overcrowded suitcase. They simply thought of everything, even the little things... During breakfast, you will find enough food for a healthy morning meal... Finally, I would like to mention the most important thing in the overall impression is the friendly staff. They made us feel at home and that is what is priceless. They are all wonderful, but Ema stole our heart with her uniqueness. So, thank you for this really great vacation! You deserve to be among the best!

GGuest UserGreat pics ion just a couple of minutes from the bustle of the centre of Valletta. Just a 20 minute taxi ride from the airport. Really nicely done and spotlessly clean public areas. The staff were super friendly and service was always quick. Our room was a superior double with a balcony and hot tub. Really nice however just a little small for a 5 night stay but we didn’t spend too much time in the room to be fair. Nice coffee machine and amenities. Roof top area was amazing - great pool and plenty of loungers with shade. A nice selection of available too. Great views from here too. Breakfast was nice - buffet and hot options. Again efficient and friendly service. The breakfast room is in the basement so felt a little gloomy at times. All in all a great start in Valletta. I’d stay here again and recommend it!

We booked the penthouse to get the balcony and it was faultless - huge comfy bed, huge balcony with sunloungers and chairs, a little kitchenette and a fab bathroom with lovely, powerful, hot shower. Air con super effective! All staff at the hotel are very helpful and friendly and speak good English. The complementary breakfast is brilliant - pastry and bread selections, meats and cheese, local dips, granola and yoghurt pots and freah smoothies of the day. Hot drinks are free all day, as is filtered water. Every day between 6 and 9, the roof terrace opens and there are complementary drinks (red and white wine, cisc lager, coke, sprite and Kinnie) - the views from the terrace are fab and it's a great spot to watch the sunset. The hotel is beautifully maintained and furnished and is in a lovely, quiet spot but is literally 5 mins walk to Strait Street etc for bars and restaurants and less than 10 mins walk to all main sightseeing spots such as the Co-cathedral, St Elmos Fort and War Museum, Upper Barrakka Gardens and the gun salute. Would highly recommend and would definitely visit again!

We had booked a short break quite late and stayed here Sunday-Thursday. From the moment we arrived, the attentiveness of all of the staff was first rate. Nothing was too much effort. Make sure you talk to them about them, some great backgrounds and to be able to share some of that enriched the experience. Upon their advice based on a maintenance issue we moved rooms, no issue, they were very apologetic and sought to ensure we were happy with the alternative. Breakfast, I honestly don’t know where to start - we believe this is the best breakfast choice, quality and service we have had in over 30 years of travelling. Whether it was continental, English breakfast, or anything in between, all superb. Will truly miss this. We ate at Grain Street twice, second time the tasting menu. Loved every dish without exception. Nowhere else we ate at this week compares to the quality and attention to detail and service that the hotel offers. The soap menu in the rooms is a nice touch, we took opportunity to use this.

GGuest UserThe hotel is ideally situated overlooking the harbour and close to restaurants etc. We booked a room with a balcony (606) and were extremely happy with the view of the harbour and the Three cities. The room itself was comfortable and had adequate storage for the four nights we spent here, there was an enclosed shower in the bathroom and plenty of hot water. The room was cleaned every day and fresh towels provided. Breakfast had an excellent choice, including bacon, sausage, scrambled eggs, mushrooms & tomatoes, there was a choice of 2 cereals, cold meats, cheese, yoghurt, fresh fruit, 3 juices, bread rolls, pastries, jams and a toaster, so plenty of choice to set you up for the day. Also there was a very good coffee machine. All the staff were exceptionally friendly and would help you with any query. If you suffer from mobility issues, this may not be an ideal lication as there are steep steps up to the centre where all the shops/restaurants are. Overall, I found this to be a well presented and value for money hotel and it's worth paying extra for the views.

JJoyce AyalaThis is very well located, they had a little closet to keep our bags until we checked in at 1500 and then we where also avail to use it after we checked out while we got breakfast before heading to the airport. The apartment had a small potable AC that tried its best but the Malta heat can be a lot, when we asked for a fan they where very quick. They responded super fast to any questions we had and spoke the language. I didn’t catch the female workers name but she was super sweet and accommodating. She said she was from Colombia . Overall I would stay here again but it’s definitely a place to crash in between activities. Keep your expectations low and you’ll enjoy it.
