The hotel is very comfortable and the location is quite good. One hundred meters away from the city center, the hotel staff is very friendly and especially likes the hotel. It is very rich in the morning and can bring children. I hope that Chinese tourists can whisper a little, can close the door and make a small noise. It is better to think about others. Thank you! The people here are very friendly and there are smiles everywhere.

I am writing this review on the evening before we leave for home in the UK We have stayed at Hotel Valentina for one week From the moment we entered reception the service has been exemplary. The hotel is modern, well presented and spotlessly clean. Everyone of the hotel staff we have encountered from reception, bar staff, breakfast staff and cleaning staff have been polite, efficient and eager to please. I cannot fault the service. We stayed half board and took our meals at The Avenue Restaurant, the food has been amazing and the service before the weekend was excellent, since then service has not been quite so good but this restaurant has only been open in this location for a week so some issues whilst bedding in are bound to take place. Rebecca, Maria and Andrea at the Avenue were delightful and did their level best to ensure we had a good experience but it appeared they had too many tables to serve on at any one time, that said the quality of the food made up for any shortfall. A very big well done and thank you to all at Hotel Valentina, you were a credit to yourselves and your company and superb ambassadors for Malta. Thank you

The Embassy Hotel in Valletta is quite simply SUPERB. The employees, to a person, are absolutely fantastic. It was a genuine pleasure to be a guest. Room great. Pool great. Food great. Staff are better than you’ll find anywhere in the world.

Perfect location. Clean room. Great service. Good view. But.... I visited in March when it was very cold. No heating and the sliding door had many gaps where the wind whistled in so my two nights were very cold and no additional blankets.

I was very happy that they treated me kindly and courteously without showing any dislike at all, even though my understanding of English was not good at all.

After much deliberation for location and hotel for our stay in Malta we chose 'The Regency Plaza, Sliema*' and after a fantastic week here we know that we chose well. Very happy with the hotel from the reception - happy to help with anything and everything, baggage storage (until our room was ready), our room, the bed, the view, the pool (outdoor one is blooming cold but who cares!), the breakfast choice to most importantly, location! It's important to know that *Sliema is massive and where the ferries go from. This hotel is quite a distance from there (although easily walkable) and is actually situated in Exiles Bay (Bus stop is actually Antik - right outside the hotel) a much quieter and prettier area. We were put on the 5th floor and were so glad as the views were superb and also the outside noise isn't as intense, but the sliding door to the balcony is very effective at cutting out the noise anyway. I loved to sit and watch the world go by early morning and evening - people jogging, walking, taking dogs for a walk or the may electric scooters whizzing by. We had no trouble sleeping nor did we hear any other noise (like music or road traffic etc). There are a couple of nice bars/restaurants opposite the hotel and directly out of the hotel entrances (yes, there are two receptions and entrances) is a pizza place (which you walk through to get in) and a Costa Coffee shop. Our room was a reasonable size and had all the amenities we needed - safe, hairdryer, plenty storage, a nice shower (but you do have to pay extra for coffee making facilities) but the toilet took forever to re-fill after a flush - a tad annoying but nothing I'd really moan about. The shower had some marks on the grouting but overall the room was very clean and the maids came everyday. Bed was comfortable and blackout curtains ensured a good nights sleep. Breakfast was a very, very typical European hotel offering. Cooked sausages, bacon, eggs, beans, tomatoes etc. Plenty choice of break, fruit, meats and cheese. Lovely fresh cooked warm croissants with a choice of jams, chocolate sauce and more. Coffee and juice via machines and waitresses very efficently cleaning up after you as soon as you are done, so no clutter of plates on tables etc. As mention, the top floor swimming pool was excellent but really cold. We found this both bracing and refreshing on the warmer days, plenty of sunloungers, a pool bar and mutliple level seating (as there are two sides to the hotel, you can cross over). We got a 7 day bus travel card for €21 each and we used them to death as it is so simple to get anywhere on the island by bus. They are clean, frequent and convenient. The bus stops are right outside the hotel for either direction. They can get full during 'rush hours' but that's always part of the charm of travel by bus we find! Excellent property with great location, extremely clean and comfortable, super friendly staff. Teo was extraordinary! He was a true example of excellent hospitality. He made our trip more exciting in Malta by guiding and giving us tips about the city and the attractions to cover in 72 hours. He made sure that everything was arranged for us accordingly. I couldn't thank him enough for the excellent level of service he had rendered. We will surely visit H Hotel on our next holiday and expect that will recommend your hotel to our family and friends.

I spent 5 days in hotel due to business visit to Malta. First feeling was-it feels like home, it is very comfortable since room is equipped with everything you need (if anything missing, reception stuff was always helpful). My room was on the 9th floor with a great view, and quite calm. Since I visited in February, I was not lucky to use rooftop pool, but I would be happy to go back since there is a great view from the pool (pool deck was open so you could go and catch some sun). Another plus is that there is laundry service in basement, which I imagine for trips longer than just a few days is very useful. Everything was very clean (they do weekly cleaning which I didn't mind as I read policy in advance), and staff was very nice. Check in was smooth and late check out was possible since room was not booked, that I appreciated greatly due to late flight that day. I found out that currently they are switching between operators for kitchen so unfortunately I didn't get to experience lunch/dinner that was mentioned in previous comments, but I believe this will add so much to their offer from March onwards. You can still order food through Wolt and have it at home (which I found very cozy!), which is a plus compared to classic hotel concept. Location is in Msida, which is more of residential area, which I didn't mind (since I lived in this area some years ago when I was working in Malta) since it's very quite and you can reach the sea by walk. It's very central so by taxi or bus is also quite easy and fast to reach touristy and bars area. Overall great experience and very comfortable. I would recommend.

Stayed for 7 nights in a deluxe room on 10th floor. Check in was easy and very efficient. Room was large with a decent balcony. Bathroom had separate shower and bath. Not very many electric points and no USB charging points. Overall the room was good but in need of modernising. We had an issue with knocking from the water pipes ( not in our room) for our whole stay. Breakfast was plentiful, but limited options for vegetarian and even less for vegan choice. Pool area was great, with lots of loungers and shaded areas. Staffing at the pool bar seemed to be a bit hit or miss, one day 6 staff, the next day 2. Service at the hotel bar was also an issue on a few occaisions, mainly when there were conference groups. The location of the hotel was great, but not for those who would struggle with stairs. Overall great location, but faded granduer and some staffing issues

Great service-clean hotel This is the first review I have written for a hotel The hotel was great !the reason I am writing this review is because of the hotel staff. This was an first visit to Malta and with their help.suggestion and gudisncs we had a great experience. Our room was quite opacious and enough storage for a phot stay.It was another clean .Breakfast was excellent If returning to Malta ,we will stay at The window hotel again!
