We stayed only 1 night but would’ve gladly stayed longer. Very cozy, well-equipped, and efficient little cabin. My 9-year old loved the sleeping loft. Comfy beds and quiet environment despite the campsite that was completely full. We would definitely return.

Little standalone cottages. Clean and nice and little kitchen which was nice to cook dinner. It would have been nicer, but it was extremely windy that day, so we had to stay inside. It would have been nice to walk around because it was also a farm, but it was just unbearable outside that evening. If you leave the property and head south, it is a short cut to highway 1 on the south side. However, the last stretch is a gravel road well maintained and very scenic but pretty steep in some places.

As per the description, everything is in one room - kitchen, eating area and beds, so inevitably not a lot of space (at least not in the cabin with bunk beds), although bathroom was spacious. Kitchen was well equipped and each cabin had its own gas barbecue and outside picnic bench table (wished we'd realised this before arrival but description had led us to believe these were shared facilities). Would have been a lovely setting for outdoor cooking! Cabins were arranged so that each had its own privacy (as far as the deck area). Unfortunately our cabin had a bit of an unpleasant aroma from previous guests.

Wir wären gerne länger als nur eine Nacht geblieben, denn hier hat es uns sehr gut gefallen. Die Häuschen liegen sehr ruhig und malerisch zwischen Bäumen gelegen und sind mit allem ausgestattet, was nötig ist für Selbstversorger. Sie sind mit Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet. Die Betreiber sind sehr herzlich und der Hund verspielt. Es gäbe die Möglichkeit, vor Ort zu reiten. Das Zimmer, samt Badezimmer ist sehr großzügig gross. Nicht gefallen: Die Matratzen waren uns etwas zu hart und die Kissen nicht nackenstützend.

I cottages sono molto carini, circondati da abeti, sembra di essere isolati. Sono piccoli ma ben forniti. Il nostro, per 4 persone, aveva un unico ambiente con letto matrimoniale, letto a castello e zona cucina. Forse un po troppo piccolo, ma cmq in una location molto caratteristica. Bagno ok. Parcheggio davanti. Barbecue. Zona ovviamente priva di tutto, ma con Egilsstadir a pochi km. Nel complesso positivo. Di negativo, come detto, solo forse che l'ambiente era un pò piccolo per 4 persone, cmq il bagno era grande.
