I am super happy to have chosen Mjoanes Accomodation as my stay on the eastern side of Iceland. And I can’t praise my host enough. During my visit, I encountered trouble with my rental car and found myself unable to make local calls due to a phone issue. My host generously lent me her phone to contact road assistance and went above and beyond to help me sort everything out. Her kindness didn’t stop there; she regularly checked in on me to ensure I was emotionally and physically okay, which truly eased my anxiety during a stressful situation. The room was comfortable, with a cozy bed that made it easy to relax after a long day. The bathroom amenities were well maintained, adding a nice touch to the stay. On top of all that, her adorable doggies were an absolute delight! Their playful nature brought a smile to my face. Overall, I highly recommend this accommodation for the warmth and support from the host, along with the comfortable and inviting atmosphere. It was a memorable stay despite the hiccup!

Elsa was very kind and friendly. Large rooms and shared bathroom but very clean. Kitchen equipped to make your own meals. In the morning there is fresh bread and butter, coffee or tea. The location is idyllic with views of the lake or the long countryside. It has a free hot tub and sauna.

Elsa welcomed us into her beautiful home surrounded by nature. We slept in a triple room that was really spacious compared to many other accommodations, but there is also the option of camping or staying in a cottage. The shared kitchen was a bit small and I didn't see any other shared spaces indoors. Instead, outdoors, we took advantage of the hot tub and sauna: the right relaxation after a day of trekking. The only flaw was the really meager breakfast. However, it deserves 5 stars. It's a shame we only stayed one night. The area deserves to be visited more calmly. I highly recommend it.

Magnifique région, logement très bien situé, fermé dans un espace camping impeccable. Très joli emplacement, propriétaire en or, très sympathique. Communication parfaite. Chambres impeccable, douche commune, mais emplacement pour le petit-déjeuner privé, compris dans le prix, pain maison délicieux, confiture maison à tomber par terre, merci pour tout, je recommande fortement.

Abbiamo trovato una stanza molto grande, cosa non scontata nel corso del nostro viaggio in Islanda. Bagni condivisi, pulitissimi e cucina a disposizione. La proprietaria è stata gentilissima nel mostrarci il posto e anche nel darci aiuto con lavatrice e asciugatrice. Abbiamo anche avuto modo di usare la sua vasca idromassaggio riscaldata! Colazione semplice, ma con pane fatto in casa! Abbiamo anche avuto il piacere di conoscere i cani e i gatti dei proprietari, bellissimi!
