Super decent hotel. Total focus on a value for money option, with nice rooms, cool bathrooms. Location wise is also very good, walking distance from everywhere in city center. Everything works, and for a one night stay is super good option.

We stayed there one night in the end of January 2023. the location is great. there is free private parking place. the room was spacious and the bed really big. Very good Wi-Fi . good value for money. Paid 730 pesos (including all taxes). We booked last minute though. You maybe dislike that you have to climb some stairs to reach the rooms. no elevator. no English speaking staff. no soundproof rooms.

We were only really there to sleep but stay was good...hot water, super clean, filtered water in a glass that they refill which I appreciate rather than wasting plastic bottles, AC worked well, free parking in their private parking lot, central square is only a few minute walk away.
Only thing that was annoying is the confirmation says you must contact them at least 72 hours before to confirm check in instructions - I messaged through ********** over a week before and then again 2 days before and they never responded. However, check in was easy, there was reception when we arrived around 630 at night and no issues.

We stayed at Hotel Real Colonial for 3 nights and absolutely loved it. Conveniently located a 5-min walk from the main square, the building has a very lovely vibe, with its yellow walls and little roof top terrace decorated with plants and colourful vases. Our room was spacious, with a very wide king size bed, TV and a very neat bathroom with powerful shower. There is a wide car park just next to the hotel which is handy if you are travelling by car. Our room was facing the street, which was a bit loud in the morning, and generally the curtains do not do enough to shield from the powerful Mexican morning light, but that’s an easy fix with earplugs and eye mask. WI-FI is available, enough to browse and search for things on the Internet, although not super strong and not very stable.
