The good parts of staying here are really good. The room was comfortable and quiet. Beautiful decor, history all around, it’s a lot of fun. We walked the whole castle. It’s really interesting, from the courtyards to the church to the hallways. They really push having dinner. It’s a bit expensive, and not as good as we expected. It was good, just not really good. The staff is on top of everything to make your stay great. They are all friendly, helpful, and always ready to assist. The music that was played during dinner was so outstanding. It’s a really cool place to stay. BUT…… I have two complaints. 1.) we were inundated with emails and messages on Booking. I mean over whelmed! I’m estimating over 30 messages in the couple of days leading up to our stay. From pushing attendance at dinner to buying breakfast to time of arrival. It was way, way, way too much. If you need to email me, do it all in one message. 2.) I guess they can’t help it due to location, but wifi is spotty at best. We couldn’t get it in our room. So, stay here knowing you won’t have wifi, knowing you will see really cool facilities, eat alright food, and be served by great people.

The absolute best night I had in Italy. The castle was amazing and the view spectacular. Everyone was super friendly and Marco went above and beyond welcoming us, giving us a tour and helped make our stay extraordinary. I would highly recommend staying here.

Definitely a 10/10 stay! Wonderful staff, beautiful location, incredible castle, renovated bathroom and delicious breakfast!! Worth the trip up the mountain. Must stay! Marco was the best and definitelywent above and beyond !!!!!!!!!!

Staff was incredibly nice. Place is enchanting, with a beautiful view from the tower to the surrounding hills and lakes. Room was not the most clean, but we didn't mind much, considering everything else. Nearby there are a lot of great trekking tours, so it is definitely a place to stay for the active ones seeking escape in the nature :)

the place is in generalis nice, quiet ,might need some updating, wonderful breakfast ,and overall the people managing the place, very helpful and specialy with our dog...In general is worthy to go in there f,as a place to base for excursions around .

Fantastic experience. I stayed with my wife and our dog in this structure surrounded by greenery and tranquility, a few kilometers from Gubbio and Assisi, shame about the rainy weather which did not allow us to fully enjoy the surrounding beauties. Kind and courteous staff, very nice room, very clean and equipped with all comforts, in full medieval atmosphere. Excellent food accompanied by themed background music. We will definitely return. Highly recommended for spending a totally relaxing holiday and being able to comfortably visit the beauties of Umbria
