Just an overall very pleasant experience. Good location, very nice service upon arrival, nice and tastefully decorated rooms, secure parking nearby, and one of the best breakfasts we have had in all of France so far! And all of this at a very fair price.

Waystop on long drive through France and frankly quite concerned when we realised The Victoria Hotel was literally right outside the train station - usually an area of any city to be wary of. However, both Valances train station and the Victoria Hittel exceeded expectations. Firstly the arrangement with the Q-Park underground station car park was very convenient - and I don't think we have experienced a cleaner and more secure spot. The station area was actually pleasant - no sign of the usual vagrants for such an area. And finally, the Victoria Hotel was neat and clean, good rooom, very nice breakfast and helpful staff.

This is a stylish hotel in a convenient location across the road from the railway station. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom finished to a high standard. The road outside is busy but the owners have fitted high quality quadruple glazing, which is very effective at cutting out all noise. The rooms are all air conditioned for comfort. We would be happy to stay here again.

Gorgeous little boutique hotel with the best bed linen and the most delicious breakfast of our trip. The decor is stunning and the room quiet and comfortable. Heaven. We were travelling with our two labradors, who were also made super welcome. Everything was perfect, highly recommend.

Nice style and atmosphere. Friendly staff when they are present. Overpriced compared with other hotels though because limited services due to absence of staff during most of day/evening. High extra costs due to 2 hours later checkout because of cleaning while occupation of hotel seemed calm.
