i must admit i don't get some of the reviews unless my room (302) was renovated.hotel lara doesn't look so good from the outside but inside was a different story. considering i finished my walk for the day very early my room was ready,lifts to all floors,my room was large and looked very smart and had a double bed,good storage space,mini fridge,safety deposit box,free water and coffee facilities,one tidy bathroom with a great shower,throw in a huge balcony which got a lot of sun and was over looking part of the forte and this was one of the best 3 star hotel i have ever stayed in.

Please be advised if you are looking for a pleasant and comfortable splurge hotel night on Camino- this is not it. Very disappointing and definitely no AC as posted on its site. The room looked pretty on pics but was not comfortable at all. Had to sleep with window and door open to survive the night it was so hot at night

Staff were pleasant and helpful. It was Easter Sunday so facilities were restricted in the town. The hotel staff made an effort (without being asked ) to find us a restaurant serving the food I mentioned I liked. Hotel is a bit dated but clean. Excellent breakfast.

Well located for the Camino. Lovely spacious comfortable room. Very helpful staff. I had the Pilgrims menu for dinner and it was amazing value at 12 euros and delicious. Highly recommended. Breakfast was also very good.

We stayed at Hotel Lara while biking the Camino. It was adequate - clean, spacious, breakfast was fine, and they tolerated our bikes. But the hotel is very dated, without any character, and on a busy and unattractive road. The staff we interacted with were not very helpful. We had a flat on one of our bikes heading into town, and called the hotel for help, but the staff made no effort to assist us. Not a highlight of our trip.

Atendimento dos profissionais do Hotel 10* com uma cortesia educacional, simpática e profissional extraordinária. Peq. Almoço de acordo com.o necessário. No entanto o hotel precisa ser intervencionado de restauro principalmente de janelas, portas e casa de banho (218) sanita solta, água do banheiro para o chão, chão partido. O local uma via de acesso a Espanha, com trânsito a toda a hora, precisa URGENTEMENTE intervenção em Portas e janelas pois quer interior e exterior, a insonorização é muito má, ouvem-se o trânsito a passar na rua como se as janelas estivessem abertas, as conversas no corredor, autoclismo, água nos quartos a correr, portas a bater insonorização péssima. Localização boa perto da fortaleza.

Um hotel num sítio espectacular! Junto da muralha e a vista e a zona é muito bonita! Um hotel com alguns anos mas com uma traça familiar e muito acolhedor. O pequeno almoço normal para um hotel desta categoria. O atendimento é personalizado e sempre atenciosos.
