Oxfordbnb

Excellent BnB. Friendly owners, comfy rooms, nice breakfast and good price. I have only one negative and its that the ground coffee at breakfast was ... not great. Had to revert to tea on second day. I guess the owners are not coffee lovers. I recommend the hosts invest in a espresso pod machine (get a Lavazza one; much better coffee than other brands and cheaper pods). With a pod-machine, I'd rate them 6 stars.

What a fantastic B&B! It had everything we needed: comfortable twin room with shower, tv and Wi-Fi, off-street parking. The continental breakfast was self service with plenty of choice. We were close to the bus stop for Oxford, as well as the local pub and walks down to the Thames at Iffley Lock. Our host was very friendly and helpful, with maps and suggestions for our stay. Definitely value for money.

Stayed recently with my partner and young daughter. We had such a lovely, relaxing time! We were in the loft room which was warm and welcoming with everything we needed. The bnb is in a great location, a quiet village on the outskirts of Oxford which is easily accessible by bus or a lovely walk along the Thames which took us about an hour. Our hosts were friendly and very knowledgeable about the local area. Breakfast was delicious, and plentiful. Eggs, croissants, berries, cereals etc. would love to stay again and happy to recommend to anyone visiting the beautiful city of Oxford.

A very homely welcoming Bnb run by a really friendly helpful family. A lovely quiet safe area but only a short walk to the bus stop to catch a bus into Oxford. A space on the private driveway for us to park. Next time we visite we will get a tour bus to show us around so we do plan to return to this bnb because really it is truly the best one we have ever stayed in. The room was clean and comfortable and the kitchen/breakfast room could be used whenever needed. One day we ordered in at the suggestion of the owner so had a takeaway in the kitchen. big fridge also in the kitchen where you can keep food if need be. Use of a microwave and washing machine and dryer also if needed. Absolutely amazing for a bnb. Read less

We had a lovely weekend stay at this B&B for my graduation - the breakfast was tasty, the room was very clean, comfortable and cosy. The host was a lovely man who gave us a lift into the city so we could be in for the morning. It was nice that we were left to it when it came to helping ourselves for breakfast and our room etc. Would definitely stay again.

All the other review say it all really but we were most pleasantly surprised to find that it was all so very true. Bryan and his wife are so friendly and attentive and willing to help in all sorts of ways. The rooms are lovely and comfortable, very clean with excellent showers. The breakfast room which is predominately self service with all the usual items expected in a continental breakfast but you can order eggs, croissants and hot chocolate to be served. There is unlimited coffee and tea both in the rooms and breakfast room. The breakfast room is available to guests all day so if you don't fancy eating out then buy a ready meal and heat it in the microwave. For a small extra charge you can use the washing machine and tumble dryer. We are a couple of oldies and visited with our son and teenage grandson and I must say it was excellent and a very good choice. We left the car at the BnB during our stay and caught the bus which is a very short walk away and very convenient as it takes you straight into the centre of Oxford in 15 mins or less. We weren't there long enough to try the lovely walk along the river and my husband was recovering from surgery but we plan to do this next time. Oh yes there will definitely be a next time. Thoroughly recommend.
