Top rated hotels in Valdez

Glacier Hotel
3.9/5100 Reviews
Definitely would stay here again. Hotel staff was very friendly. Probably the friendliest staff at any hotel ever. Needless to say, the check-in went fast and very smooth. The room was super clean and sanitized. The view from the room was great with the water, a glacier and the mountains in the distance. Everything worked well in the room and there is a nice table with a couple of chairs for eating carry-out every meal. Check-out was just as fast and easy as check-in. The hotel provided free breakfast, but I did not use this amenity, so I can't comment on the breakfast. The location was perfect, right in the heart of town. You could walk to anywhere in Valdez from this location. Parking was free and easily available right in front. There is a side exit on the far right of the parking lot, but it was locked for entrance for security reasons, but it was convenient when exiting.
Best Western Valdez Harbor Inn
3.9/593 Reviews
The price of the area is expensive. The most expensive Best Western has lived so far. Apart from the expensive, the other is good. The town has beautiful scenery. The hotel is next to the port. The scenery is good and convenient.
Keystone Hotel
3.3/5101 Reviews
While the ambience is by no means cozy, Keystone is a good deal within the limited lodging selections of Valdez. The building consists of stacked, modular construction camp units with small rooms. Room size is adequate with one double bed, but with 2 double beds there's very little room for movement. The downtown location is convenient for walking to stores, harbor, and ferry terminal. In keeping with the entire hotel, the breakfast area is strictly utilitarian, but their self serve breakfast is well above average and available very early in the morning. Room wifi was adequate for our needs. They appear to have 24 hour checkin. At $150 for 3 adults, we felt we got good value -- for Valdez.
