Stopped here for lunch in the restaurant. After the meal, could understand why it was so popular with locals! Had the very excellent set lunch which included wine, gaseoso, and water. Have had a number of super set lunches in Spain, and most are excellent value for money…this one added serious quality into the equation! If the rooms as half as good as the meal, would more than happily stay here!

The hotel for business use is fine. For vacation use, it is remote and poorly connected to get to the center of Valderrobres, having to go by road with hardly any shoulder, which is a bit dangerous. The breakfast is rather poor in terms of variety (compared to 3-star hotels). During our two-day stay, we could not use the room's balcony or open the access door to it because the flies invaded us. (we had bad both nights), we didn't know where they appeared from but there were no hands to eliminate. The next day I let reception know in the morning and when I returned in the afternoon it was more of the same. Reception response "we are in the field". Good answer and you didn't miss out on my reaction (I'm not going to reproduce it). The water pressure of the shower and the sink goes to pressure surges, it does not have a constant pressure. Otherwise, the room is clean, quiet and you can sleep.

Hotel just 1 km from the center of Valderrobres. Free outdoor parking. Spacious room, with balcony, spacious bathroom, large closet. The best is the staff. I didn't like the pillows at all... for the rest, fine.
