Villages Montana and the Chalet Skadi property is a place i have stayed at several times since it opened. The addition of a hotel and bar/restaurant on site is very welcome, but what really wows are the facilities and the amazing service experience which the team led by Guillaume offers its clients. Every stay has been a delight, but this time when we experienced real challenges during our stay the team really excelled with their help, diligence and care for us all. Superb

The location is very important when you're skiing during a week. It is also fancy because you can have your own SPA when you arrived from ski

although reception staff were helpful the manager was unwilling to enter into any dialogue when we complained about noise. Ski locker room cold and filthy, i cleaned it up myself, the benches had rough edges that caused me to get a nasty splinter the bleed and was sore. Room noisy , when we asked to move the management refused to talk to us and it took 24 hours to get them to agree to room us to another room, no help was offered in the moving process Doors were banging in the corridors late into the night, this would solved by using soft close doors

We had the privilege of staying here in the Summer this year. It is in a great locations about a 8 minute walk up from the tourist information center . The apartment had all the amenities you need for a self catering holiday (they also have a spar shop about two doors up that had lots of things) It was a great base to be up in the mountains for walking and biking etc… We have booked to return in March ! I must mention the pool/sauna etc-this is great -we loved going here every afternoon -my only complaint if any is that is closes a little early in the evening and we got kicked out most nights ! The company who run this are very obliging and reply to every question and very helpful staff also. Book this without hesitate!!Enjoy

Cancelled our stay with no reason, which has left my partner & I in a mess for our honeymoon. With the demand for Val-d’Isère this is completely unacceptable as there are no other viable options available. Book at your own risk I guess……………..

Excellent location with two minutes walk to bus-stop. Busses every ten minutes. Friendly front-desk staff. Nice SPA. Practical ski-room/storage. Room 309 as is should however not be offered to guests. Poor indoor air quality. In room 309, one bedroom is without window/access to fresh air. Indoor corridors with guest-traffic are ajacent to bedroom window.

I would give it 3.5 stars if that was an option, as it is good but not 'very good'. I think it would be 'very good' with a few improvements. Pros: comfortable beds. great views. balcony underground parking. nespresso machine (bring your own pods). cons: Apartments are much smaller than the pictures on the website would suggest. the communal area in a 2-bed apartment is very cramped. Kitchen is very small and equipment is limited. no washing machine which was surprising for a self-catering place. Bedsheets are the cheap and scratchy type, not 'hotel linen'. There's no point paying extra for a fireplace as the lounge is so small that it gets unbearably hot. Spa is nice but it gets busy as it's small. Also, it closes very early every day (19.45), which is odd when most people will want to use it in the evenings. The steam room was broken for the whole week during our visit. I asked a couple of times about this, but it didn't seem like anyone was in a rush to fix it. Nobody cleared the snow / ice in the courtyard all week so it became like an ice rink. Parking is expensive, but probably average for local area. I would probably stay here again, but might book a bigger apartment and bring my own sheets.

Great location, not far to walk to the centre and on the free bus route. Staff are lovely, apartment had everything you could need. Very clean and comfortable and modern. Spa was great after a long day on the slopes and not too busy. Food was excellent.
