Nothing was too much trouble at this hotel. From the welcoming arrival to our departure everyone was so helpful and friendly. Location is excellent, just of Main square, so easy to ski in and out… perfect when legs are tired Breakfast had a great selection of food and catered for those with gluten or dairy intolerances. A couple of stand outs by the staff; No mirror in bedroom, asked at reception if they had one and within a few hours this was supplied Each morning the breakfast staff would bring me sliced lemons for my hot water without me having to ask One of the breakfast ladies (we didn’t get her name) even explained to us the Mountain View we had for our table at breakfast and was very interested in where we would be skiing that day Our departure time was early at 7.10, the hotel opened breakfast early so that people could have breakfast before departure Highly recommend this hotel, has a lovely feel and all their staff really want to care and help you and make sure your stay is how you want it to be

Spent a week in the small beautiful boutique hotel. The service and hospitality were excellent nothing was too much trouble - Great location for skiers with roomy lockers for skis - would definitely stay again and highly recommend. We booked a large room which had loads of space for storage and was very comfortable .

We stayed in this hotel In French Ski Holiday and stayed in XL room which is very well-equipped and can easily accommodate up to 4-5. We stayed in the hotel for a week and left the hotel very happy. Staff was very attentive and kind. Hotel is situated very close to the slopes and ski rental shops.

A beautiful hotel in a brilliant location just around the corner from the ski front and all the lifts and gondolas. We arrived later than expected due to traffic jams and the staff were so accommodating in opening the kitchen to cook us a meal - that set the tone for the week. The staff are very friendly and attentive, and we really enjoyed our stay here. There are a few opportunities for improvement which we would offer as feedback: - the rooms are very hot and the air is very dry - we all suffered from sore throats during the week because of the dry air - there were no tea or coffee making facilities in the room - the shower mixer in our room wouldn’t maintain a constant temperature Overall we really enjoyed our stay and we would recommend this hotel.

Great little hotel conveniently located 1 block off the main street in Val d'isere. My only real complaint, and I've seen it in Ormelune reviews before, is the heat level in the rooms! And this review is by someone who is almost always complaining about being COLD. We turned the room radiator know to zero - and it was still hot! The beds are made up with only a bottom sheet and this 6 inch thick down comforter, which made it even more suffocating. No top sheet! So all week we slept on top of the beds with no covers. And there was a sign in the elevator warning guests NOT to open windows, as that could cause a radiator rupture and the guest would be charged $500 Euros. So they are aware of the heat problem, but do nothing about it. Unfortunately, I've come across these exact same conditions in numerous small hotels in the Alps, various countries. Why so damn hot??? And why nothing but heavy down comforters?

PROS: Rooms are clean and modern Breakfast is better than average. Staff exceptionally helpful All facilities are provided Location is exceptional CONS: Gym was a little sparse. Needed a few free weights, bars, and benches to be comprehensive, and in keeping with the general standard of the rest of the hotel no tea/coffe facilities in room, BUT staff rapidly provided a kettle. Had to call daily for a cup.

Franchement, top. Et nous reviendrons. Séjour d'une semaine en famille. Nous avons particulièrement apprécié l'emplacement, à 2 minutes à pieds des pistes + au coeur de la station, et l'accueil, super personnel. Chambre de bonne taille, et propre. Vue sympa sur bas les pistes. Petit-dej copieux et bons. Local à ski pratique.
