We have just returned from a fantastic week at the Hotel and Spa Le Savoie in Val D’Isere France. We cannot praise Inghams and their lovely friendly professional staff highly enough. Everybody was friendly, interested and a pleasure to deal with. The chefs are amazing; we enjoyed every dinner the quality and variety is 2nd to none. Huge applause to the kitchen staff! The hotel itself is lovely and in a brilliant location right in the centre with a ski bus stop outside. Ski hire shop is adjacent. This is a great place for a ski/boarding holiday for everyone, couples, families, groups and we would recommend to anyone! Well done Inghams!

Entire experience outshone expectation! Staff outstanding. Charming - friendly & genuinely interested in everyone without being obsequious. Seldom if ever have we found every single member of staff so delightful and as if we'd known them as friends before. We were shown to our lovely room - with a cracking bathroom including bath and shower. We were then invited to make our choice of both menu and time for dinner, before collecting our skis from the ski hire shop next door. When we sat down to our meal we were blown away by how good it all was. Every course - FIVE of them if we wanted it - was outstanding and we should know as food is our business! We couldn't believe they could do better following night. They did! Breakfast was delicious every morning and the biscuits and cake waiting for tea after a long day of blissful/hard skiing was absolutely the icing on the above! We didn't go to Val for the food but it became a massive factor in our memory of the entire week.

We have been here a couple of days and purposely spent more to not stay at le ducks savioe because of how noisy the deliveries are and how you can hear everything as people arrive from nights out or people leaving with suit cases. The beds also are really hard. So for the two nights we have been there I haven’t actually slept fully as always woken up at 12pm until 2:30/3 and then again at 4am when deliveries arrive and then at 5:30 for the first guest who are leaving. Avoid rooms ending in a 1 or 2b as they are at the back and unless you sleep like a hibernating bear you will be woken up. It’s a real shame as the hotel, food, staff are wonderful. And they did tried to resolve the room issue by moving us from a 1 room to a 2b room but it hasn’t actually fixed the problem. If you could pick this hotel up and pop it on a different road perhaps it would have been a perfect place to stay.

This hotel was wonderful - such lovely staff and service and really amazing food and facilities! Particularly loved the spa. Definitely the best hotel we’ve ever stayed at on a ski trip. Would highly recommend!

Absolutely loved staying in this chalet hotel for a week with my family. The breakfast is extensive and sets you up well for a day on the mountain. Afternoon tea has selection of sweet and savoury which was a lovely surprise! Spoilt for choice from the dinner menu with plenty variety of dishes offered. Rooms very comfortable - great showers. The spa area was greatly appreciated after a busy day - pool, jacuzzi, steam room and sauna. Boot room has heated boot rack and sufficient storage and is very easily accessible from outside. What topped it all off was the staff. They couldn’t have been any more helpful and always so friendly and happy to answer any questions or just have a chat. Will hopefully be lucky enough to return again one day.

We decided to have a treat this year skiing and stay in a hotel. We picked La Savoie because of the reviews, Unfortunately a ski accident on day 2 stopped me skiing. The staff were just unbelievable in their care. support and tried so hard to make my holiday better. They went above and beyond. Skiing is my passion so I was clearly upset and they all made it so much easier. I can't thank them enough. The hotel is gorgeous, the people and food were wonderful. It's a big thumbs up from this family.

Stayed for a week with family recently . Very helpful attentive staff , Rooms spacious , clean and well equipped . Breakfast , afternoon tea and 5 course evening meal all very good . Had not booked a package holiday for years but did because of the un certainty of travel brought during the pandemic Pleasantly surprised and would travel with inghams again

Firstly this should not be marketed as a chalet. It's a hotel in almost every respect. GOOD: - Decor and cleanliness - Quality of furniture and fittings - Staff are really good without exception - Food is consistently very good with few exceptions - Wine is pretty poor but definitely better than most chalet wines BAD: - This is sold as a chalet holiday but there is no social atmosphere at all - Dining is always in your own couple/group every night with no opportunity to mix socially - They accept large single sex groups and allow very rowdy behaviour. This ruined our evenings for 3 nights - Maintenance of faults is poor. Basin blocked and not rectified. SUMMARY: This is a really nice place and very up market compared to most mass market ski holidays. BUT it isn't a chalet and their acceptance of single sex rowdy groups is not at all in keeping with the quality they purport to offer.

I have just returned from a weeks stay in Le Savoie and oh what a week. Travelling during Covid times can be stressful, especially with all the form filling that it entails! However the minute we arrived at the hotel we were immediately put at ease. The staff were excellent - exceptionally well trained and polite. Covid rules were followed impeccably for the entire week. We can only speak from experience, but we found it to be a 5* one. The rooms were spacious and clean. The food was, without exception, excellent. My only complaint was there was too much! Fizz and wine were included with the meals and all the wines I tasted were excellent. It was unfortunate that the spa facilities were out of action for a few days, but I believe that this was due to circumstances beyond management's control and did not detract from our overall experience. Thank you to all the management and all staff. Mrs. Hunter
