My husband & I enjoyed a big birthday getaway in this charming & cosy hotel. It is well located within a stone's throw away from the village, a supermarket & public recycling bins, and very near some ski slopes where we could enjoy the Apres Ski music from our relaxing balcony but without being overwhelmed by the loudness & crowd. An underground public parking building is located just opposite the hotel. Although the room was a bit small for us with 2 large suitcases, the bathroom was spacious & we were spoiled with having bathrobes and slippers, and the toilet was located separately from the bathroom. There was a wide variety of hot & cold food and drinks at the included breakfast with adequate amount in the nice restaurant, with tables covered in red & white tablecloth and staff were dressed in black/white attire which added to the lovely ambience. We enjoyed drinks in the lounge bar that was tastefully decorated. ..... In contrast, there was a lack of tea/coffee making facilities in our room. We asked for a kettle to boil hot water for our own consumption (vs. drinking cold tap water) which was granted by a less friendly receptionist on duty, and it was too hard to ask her for cups/mugs! ..... We also found rubbish (i.e. almonds, paper) behind the chest of drawers in our room.

We spent five days skiing in Val d'Isere in April sharing a family suite at La Savoyarde. The accommodation and the hotel feel a bit dated now but that did not matter. The hotel is a lovely place, the staff are charming and very obliging and the hotel restaurant is very good. It has an a la carte option as well as the menu and and we enjoyed some excellent dinners there. The hotel is also very conveniently located close to the front de neige.

Staff very friendly and helpful. An initial mix up on rooms was disappointing but eventually resolved but I did spend 2 nights in a room that was significantly below the room rate I paid. The bar is excellent and suited our large party very well. Dining room and staff and food also excellent. We hope to back again next year.

The hotel was very well maintained and well located. The spa facilities were an added bonus and the staff were very welcoming and helpful.

Excellent cosy bar, great breakfast, friendly staff, room was a bit tired but functional and clean, well located for all amenities and super sauna/steam room. Nearby nightclub was noisy which isn’t the hotel’s fault. Rooms were warm and ski locker excellent.

Very welcoming on arrival, staff were very polite and friendly, good hotel bar, and excellent spa great staff and first class treatments, hotel rooms are a little out of date , however the hotel itself is really good and in a great location.

Highly recommended hotel. Perfect location, very friendly staff, good breakfast, mini spa, and brilliant bar. We were a family with older teenagers and it worked well for skiing and the evenings.

Traditional and welcoming Hotel in excellent position close to the lifts, Food very good, staff friendly and nice atmosphere in the bar and restaurant. This was our third stay here, we booked direct with the hotel which was very easy. I have been coming to Val d'Isere since the early 90s, this is about my tenth time, and a lot of Hotels have tried to become too upmarket and are soulless, not to mention too expensive. Hotel La Savoyarde is exactly what a ski hotel should be and I hope it continues in its current form for many years.

Great hotel in the best area. Breakfast was exactly what is needed for a big day of skiing. Service was also great so definitely recommend
