We had drinks on the terrace and late lunch in the restaurant. Stunning view over the mountains, excellent wine list, very friendly staff and good food. Exactly the type of place you want to end up after a long morning skiing. Pricey but certainly worth it.

Overall verdict: the hotel is very well equipped for a relaxing stay even for the more picky travellers. + The entire hotel staff is very professional, polite, and always available to answer inquiries any time of the day. The reception gives you upon arrival a small tour of the hotel, the spa and other facilities, offering you (in our case) a small welcome drink to kick off your stay. + The rooms are quite spacious for 2 people, well equipped and noise-insulated. Overall, it's very private. The bathroom has heated floors, and the shower offers enough space to be rather comfortable without being squeezed-in as it is sometimes the case in similar hotels. + Indoor spa (pool, jacuzzi, and steam sauna) are open 24/7. The gym, while good for cardio, could use some free weights. Yoga and pilates classes are available for the hotel guests as well. + Given the position and the capacity of the hotel, the restaurant offers a good variety of breakfast pastries, fruit, warm dishes, and beverages. + The common areas are regularly cleaned and well organised.

Excellent stay all around. The staff were welcoming and friendly. The location is unbeatable, so isolated, yet so easy to get into town using the gondola. The Mountain View room was stunning. The spa was wonderful and the room very comfortable. Would recommend to anyone! We did not want to leave!

The access road leading to their private parking may be narrow, but it's convenient to have a designated parking area. It's nice that they offer assistance with your bags upon check-in. The room itself sounds wonderful, with its cleanliness and amazing views. However, it's unfortunate that there was no AC, which may have impacted our comfort. Aside from that, the hotel perfect.

The location was excellent! Starting a day with Morning Yoga session, followed by a breakfast with a _view_. Then off to days activities and finally ending the day in spa with a massage. The service and people there were superb. Having an own kitchen helped to overcome the short menu.

We booked a night in the hotel as we had eaten here before but never stayed. It was lovely to be up the mountain and confined to the hotel when the lifts shut at 1630. It was a Monday evening and the hotel was very quiet, meaning the spa and pool were empty. It was like having private facilities. The staff in the restaurant were friendly and attentive and the food was amazing! The beef in particular. We had some drinks before dinner and the bar woman was superb. She gave us recommendations on cocktails and made us the best Moscow mule we have ever had. Loved the chilled atmosphere in the bar after dinner. A game of chess on a beautiful board whilst enjoying after dinner drinks. The breakfast was included in the room and the selection was amazing. So much fresh fruit and pastries. We couldn’t fault it. Again the staff were brilliant, moved us to a window seat as soon as one was available so that we could enjoy the stunning view. We couldn’t fault our stay here and will definitely be returning.

They sat a large table of us in a corridor to the toilet rather than the atmospherics dining room - a room which wasn’t full. The food was fine, nothing special and we ordered so so wine for over £200 per head. Last season it had a band and dancing. This year, they just rinsed us with nothing special. Avoid and do something fun where your custom will be appreciated.

We booked this place for dinner as a huge treat for 3 families. We had heard great things about it and some of the group had been before. As a restaurant up the mountain it should have a USP. This was sadly lacking. We were placed in what could only be described as an corridor. Most of the food was pretty average. Simply putting truffle on everything does not make for a gourmet treat. No live music and absolutely no atmosphere. Poor vegetarian options and we were charged for one of our party who had had to fly home due to injury despite the fact we were 17! We will not be returning.
