The official entrance to the Hotel is around the back, the front is actually the entrance to the hotel restaurant through the small bar. No one told me this - I had to find it out for myself as I made my way through the various areas before arriving at an abandoned side office where the official front desk was located. After a wait of about 15 minutes a woman appeared checked my reservation and then led me to my room up a dark and winding staircase. The spartan room was dark ( and the dim lightbulbs didn't help) but it was clean. I asked what time they stopped serving dinner and the response was : Do you have a booking? I said no, I didn't and then she said: well we're fully booked. I asked again and said, I'm tired from traveling and I'll sit outside at a table or just have some of the tapas which I saw being served at the entrance. She said , "No you might find something in town." When I went downstairs to inquire which was the easiest way to town? I was told to look at the map. Not having a car I walked down the steep hill ( and found a pizza place that was open - otherwise the town seemed to be abandoned. The breakfast the next morning was as spartan as the room - the basics were there and they were edible but not better than that ( and at 11 euros a day -overpriced) . It's clean, the water was hot and the bed was comfortable but friendly? No. I got the feeling that everyone would have rather been somewhere else.

there are lovely hotel options in the immediate area--avoid this place--the staff are rude, the management worse and the rooms are tired. the area is lovely so find another charming hotel like the Le Belfroi that is nearby and infinitely nicer.

L'hôtel est agréable dans l'ensemble,au calme ,mais quelques points agacent . La propreté des chambres et la literie : absolument rien à dire, parfait. Le personnel : agréable et réactif. La chambre est grande,mais aucune penderie ni rangement pour les affaires ?? L'accès : tout l'hôtel est accessible via des escaliers,plus ou moins étroits, mais je pense que la majorité des hôtels de Vaison doit être identiques. L'hôtel n'est nullement responsable de cette situation mais une mise en garde ne serait pas superflue. Je ne parlerai pas de personnes à mobilité réduite, mais juste des gens qui ont des difficultés avec les marches... Évitez.L'hôtel est situé presque tout en haut de Vaison et les difficultés de stationnement liées à la ville vous incitent a ne pas toucher votre véhicule une fois celui-ci garé , donc descente en ville à pied. Jusque là tout va bien. Le retour est beaucoup moins drole pour qui n'a pas une bonne condition physique. La piscine : il ne me semble pas avoir relevé dans les descriptifs que celle ci n'est pas attenante a l'hôtel .. pas loin, certes, une trentaine de mètres, mais qu'il vous faudra parcourir sur la route. Mon plus gros reproche ira au petit déjeuner. Assez minimaliste a moins que vous ne preniez l'option oeuf et charcuterie. Un matin,pas de pain, un autre plus de jus d'orange,puis plus de yaourts, plus de jus de pomme,on nous proposera un nectar d'abricot a la place ,et une machine à café très capricieuse,le tout à disposition dans une mini pièce très sombre... Rien de catastrophique dans tout ça, le prix est correct, mais cela pourrait être très bien avec peu de choses corrigées.

L’hôtel est bien situé sur les hauteurs de Vaison cependant nous avons eu la sensation d être floués sur les prestations annoncées via le site de l’hôtel. Notre chambre triple était dépourvue de climatisation et équipée de 2 ventilateurs aux bruits assourdissants. Bon courage pour trouver le sommeil avec un tel bruit. Que dire de la chambre… sans charme, austère, très vieillissante. Avec une propreté laissant à désirer. La piscine annoncée n’est pas dans l’hôtel, il faut poursuivre la rue pour y accéder. Le préciser sur le site permettrait d’être moins surpris. Bref, un beau site internet mais qui cache la réalité de l’hôtel.

Nous avions reservé l'appartement duplex avec terrasse et climatisation et kitchenette. A notre arrivée on nous informe qu'il a été loué à d'autres car nous etions 3 et les autres 5. Jamais vu cela nulle part ! A noter la jeune receptionniste toute débutante et pleine de bonne volonté mais totalement abandonnée par une direction totalement absente. Apres 3 heures (vraiment 3 heures réelles) d'attente à la piscine, (Jacuzzi non fonctionnel au passage..) on nous propose 1 airBNB voisin, sans clim, sans terrasse, et ou nous avons du dormir à 2 dans un lit. Et à 8h00 (a la minute pres), les travaux bruyants qui démarrent sur le AirBNB du dessus, meme propriétaire. En un mot : Fuyez cet hotel.

Nous avons testé le restaurant . Nous le recommandons. Ambiance chaleureuse, patron et serveur aux petits soins. Produits frais. Produits locaux ou régionaux Les côtelettes d'agneau cuites au barbecue sont excellentes Allez y les yeux fermés

Jolie sur les image mais …. Fortement bruyant deja et je suis reparti avec le COVID franchement dégouté et le personnel n’es vrement pas dutout aimable une fois qu’il encaisse je vous déconseille cette endroit je n’es rien de positive à décrire FUYER
