Grand Hyatt Vail

Though in-room dining options were sparse and unsatisfactory, property itself is very good, nice location, easy hop-on rides, amenities are decent, room size is adequate (not great but reasoanable) and linens are fresh. May be not a typical 5 star standard but for a mountain town, not bad.

We arrived to find the place sold out due to a conference which meant long lines and no seating at the bar areas. Then a large wedding party arrived consuming most of the areas and had to listen to the wedding music/DJ from 5pm -10:30pm followed by the clean up crew for a hour later. Would have appreciated the hotel making me aware of my room location and the proximity to the wedding so I could have requested my room to be else where. A prior individual left a few that the hot tub was green.....it was. The pool is also not to scale for the size of property. We won't be back.

Japanese restaurant was closed to regular visitors due to special event . Required us to take shuttle bus to and from other location and then waiting for the other jspanese restaurant to open and then eat. Minimum 3 hours.

Great spot for anniversary Wonderful getaway in August 2025 for our anniversary. The room was beautiful, spacious and clean, the restaurants were great, the pool was lovely.

This hotel is absolutely beautiful. The staff is so friendly and inviting, big shout out to Brooke who is the manager of food and beverage. I was very impressed with the location and the amazing pool and the walking trails/biking trails as well. I don't see myself staying at any other hotel when I visit Vail. Also, the dining in the Makoto restaurant was phenomenal. The bar menu was awesome- order the steak bites! And the burritos for breakfast at the market were 10/10.
