Thon Hotel Lofoten

It's just so-so. The hotel is not easy to find. The front is unremarkable... Room on the second floor. The waiter helped us carry the suitcase up the stairs... It was a bit annoying with so many luggages... Parking Because there is no easypark app, we can only park somewhere else

Scandic Svolvær

I drove to the Lofoten Islands and had the honor of staying in Svolvær for one night. This hotel seems to be the best hotel here, right by the sea, with a beautiful view downstairs. The front desk lady was warm and nice, and the breakfast was rich. The room was relatively small, but the bathroom facilities were complete, so it was no problem to sleep there for one night. The only drawback was that there was no free parking, and you had to download an app to pay. Overall, it was a very good experience

The room has a little taste, but the location is very good, the shopping and the pier are very convenient nearby, there are some simple cooking tools, as a transit station in Swollenville is very suitable

Hotel location is very good, right next to the docking harbour for cruises and there are a few car rental companies nearby. However, we arrived on a very busy day and they only had limited parking spots on a first come first served basis, so we had to park quite far away. The hotel lobby looked really grand, with coffee machines free for guests to use. Check in was quick and efficient. We quickly checked out the gym on 2nd floor, we didn't get to utilise it but the gym was very well equipped with Technogym equipment and even a squat rack! The room itself was clean and spacious, it was cloudy and rainy otherwise the view overlooking the docking port would have been fantastic. Buffet breakfast was another highlight, with lots of options and allergies / ingredients clearly labelled. Definitely try out their wide range of local cheeses, absolutely yummy!

Although there is a 24-hour counter service on the trip, there is actually no one to receive it. I heard from other guests that they will send a letter in advance to send information such as the room number and gate password, but I did not receive it. Later, I asked the customer service to ask the agent to contact me. Room number and password, I hope the hotel can provide an email, which is more convenient for tourists to contact! Other breakfasts and kitchens are not bad. No reception at all, and only leave the phone number to contact isn’t convenient to the foreign tourist like us. But the kitchen and breakfast is good.
