On October 5, we booked a cabin at Sandvika Camping. When making the reservation, there were different options, some more economical, without a shower in the cabin, and others more expensive, but with a shower inside the cabin. We booked a more expensive one in order to have a shower inside. The establishment informs us by booking message of the cabin number and tells us that the keys will be on the door. When we arrived, we entered the cabin and saw that it did not have a shower, so we did not have the cabin with the amenities we had reserved. We called the establishment, as it does not have a reception, and they tell us that that was the room we had reserved and that the showers were located in another building. Through their application, we sent them a screenshot indicating the room amenities and where it clearly stated that the cabin reserved had a shower inside. We did not receive any further response from the establishment and we contacted Booking. Booking tells us that the amenities of each accommodation are written by the owners and that they cannot be held responsible. They also indicate that they have called the establishment and they do not provide a solution, telling them that we were lying in the reservation made and that we are the ones who must contact them again. In this situation, we call the establishment again and tell them that we want to cancel the reservation if they do not provide the room that we had reserved with the indicated amenities and they literally tell us to look for another accommodation and that they will pay us the amount, so we leave the cabin and look for another accommodation. Finally, the accommodation has not proceeded to pay the amount of the reservation and has informed Booking that it will not do so. The truth is that we feel totally scammed and not only that, but it is the lack of respect and the bad treatment received by the establishment, reaching the point of hanging up the phone after telling us to abandon it and look for another room where to stay. Of course, I would not recommend this place to anyone, not because of the cost of the cabins, which in the end was the least of it, simply the lack of respect of the staff who attended us, making us believe that we were requesting amenities that we had not reserved when we paid more to have a simple shower in the room.

This campsite might be OK if you stay in one of the chalets but they don't seem to welcome tents. We prebooked for 4 nights in mid-August but left after 2 because we felt uncomfortable. Our order confirmation told us to camp in the 'purple area' but when we arrived, there was no purple area marked on the information board. Reception was closed (and stayed closed the whole time we were there) and the displayed phone number gave us an out of hours message, but we found someone who directed us (not overly politley) to a patch of grass next to a house at the edge of the site, as far from the toilet/water block as possible within the site. The site was empty apart from 3-4 caravans (no other tents). We felt odd camping outside someone's kitchen window and having to walk a few hundred metres across a big empty gravel car park (adorned only with charging points - looked like a construction site car park - assume it is for caravans when they get busier) whenever we went to the loo or needed water. The toilets were grubby and things like the antibacterial spray dispenser were empty and remained empty the whole time we were there. We didn't try the showers as they cost extra and to pay for them you have to take your smart phone into the cubicle to pay with vipps - didn't think the steam would be good for the phones. When we emailed to say we would leave early, we were told that a refund was impossible because we had prebooked. The campsite next door (skårungen) is the same price, includes showers in the price, has a very helpful and friendly reception, a restaurant and a lovely-looking tent area by the water that is close to toilets and has picnic benches (we went there for information and coffee and ended up hiring bikes from them).

We had a cabin on the shores of the fjord which had amazing views across the water. The cabin needed some TLC - window locks were not secure and the shower had a broken drain cover and slippery floor. Facilities in the cabin were good and clean. We had a good range of utensils. Blackout was weak….in the land of the midnight sun! Check-in was difficult…the office is not always open and finding someone to process us took at least 45 minutes….but the welcome was very friendly and helpful.

Beautiful location, comfortable cabin, fair price. The location is also good strategically. Negative points: - on weekends it gets very crowded, you lose the intimacy that can exist when there aren't many campers - check in takes place after 5pm, the reception is non-existent, you risk arriving and staying out for hours

I am not in the habit of writing negative reviews even when certain establishments deserve it. But this structure negatively exceeds all my tolerance. Very nice place but you should just sit outside and enjoy the view without setting foot inside the accommodation: upon arrival we found hair all over the place, a couple of small worms coming out of the kitchenette and the room , if we can define it as such (3.5 m2) with two kind of pitiful single beds! The bathroom is a disaster, inside furniture (1 coffee table and 1 sofa) from the 1950s. Broken living room window...etccc... All for the modest sum of 260 euros for 2 nights. I give you some advice: stay away from this property if you don't want to ruin your holidays!!

WiFi doesn't work. Most routers are broken. You can only pay for showers (the showers are not heated) with your smartphone and credit card. And that doesn't work. Hot showers are not possible. Only with water from the hand basin. Although there are people sitting at the reception (door locked) you knock but you get no help. The fish cleaning basin has been under a roof for years. Now it has been moved to the end of the site in the open air. The fishing accessories shop is no longer there. There is no jetty for mooring motorboats.

accueil très sympa c'était en Juin 2005 Mais je n'ai pas trouvé cette époque dans le choix !!!!!! après avoir roulé toute la journée sous la pluie et en plus nous avons vus le jour à minuit un paysage féérique et le lendemain froid mais très beau !!!! gravé dans nos mémoires !!!!!! Nous sommes restés 3 jours avec grand plaisir, qui nous a permis de visiter les Lofoten !!!!!!!!
