The room was small, old, not very clean, and the pillows were not comfortable. However, the small balcony in the room had a good view of the lake. The location of the hotel was also pretty good, 8-10 minutes drive from the airport.

I drove to the Lofoten Islands and had the honor of staying in Svolvær for one night. This hotel seems to be the best hotel here, right by the sea, with a beautiful view downstairs. The front desk lady was warm and nice, and the breakfast was rich. The room was relatively small, but the bathroom facilities were complete, so it was no problem to sleep there for one night. The only drawback was that there was no free parking, and you had to download an app to pay. Overall, it was a very good experience

Nice rooms, great staff, superfriendly, spoke also Norwegian (not only English), excellent breakfast and the best cinnamon buns ever!

A classic, beautiful Norwegian hotel with very friendly and helpful staff, an excellent breakfast buffet and a very good location. We would recommend the sea view rooms.

We stayed three nights last December. Our room and bathroom were compact (but clean and tidy). We didn’t mind as we knew we weren’t going to spend much time in there. Limited amenities. We had a balcony that looked out on the water. Beautiful view. Our room was located on the ground floor, close to the reception area so quite a lot of foot traffic and noise. Housekeeping did a good job. No complaints there. We enjoyed the copious and varied breakfast buffet. To be noted, parking wasn’t free and was in fact quite expensive.

We really enjoyed our stay. The location is just a short walk from shops, restaurants and the ferry terminal. Our room was clean and comfortable and had a small balcony facing the ferry terminal. The staff were all pleasant and helpful. The breakfast was excellent and the view from the dining room was wonderful. We would definitely stay at the Scandic again.

The location is good and the rooms are nice. The average rating is simply because I had a room on the ground (first) floor with a wonderful view of the car park and with a car parked right up to my window, giving me very little privacy. When I first arrived there was a man in the car looking straight into my room, so that was the curtains immediately closed. When I attempted to open the curtains in the hope that man had gone, these tourists decided to peak in. It's also very noisy, I can hear every single sound other guests are making in neighbouring rooms. There's no coffee making facilities in the room which is annoying. Staff are friendly and very helpful.

Very nice hotel with good view over the harbour. The rooms are clean and tidy. Breakfast gives you a lot of different types of food to choose from. You also have the option to take the diner buffet if you like. Different board games are availble at the reception to help you theough a rainy day.

We booked a room with a balcony, facing the water, so we could see when Hurtigruten came into the harbor every day. Ok, the room is small but it contains what you need. Nice and clean. The breakfast was also very good with a lot of options. It was quiet in the night so we slept like logs our 5 nights there, and since we came in mid Aug it might have been less noisy than in July (I am guessing). The location is very good if you want to just walk to the center or to a restaurant. Unfortunately the hotel does not have a daily opened restaurant, one evening we could see that there was a buffet, but it was at that time fully booked. We will definitely come back, it was a great stay!

Small rooms. Parking not free. Parking lot noisy at night, sonif you have avroom adjacent to it..... Reception staff very slow. Dinner buffet overpriced. Breakfast is fine. Corridors messy.

The hotel is situated near services. The room was clean and nice. Breakfast was really good. Unfortunately there was problems with check in system, so we had to wait quite long for check in
