Vagamon in itself is quite an offbeat tourist destination in Kerala and visited very less often but it has a lot to offer. Zostel Vagamon is a perfect stay option for solo travellers or even group of friends. They have dorms as well as private rooms. They have this giant hammock which makes this property unique plus there is hidden natural infinity pool and waterfalls just 20 mins trek from the property. The property provides surreal views of surrounding tea plantations and mountains. They have common areas equipped with table tennis, foosball and many other games. The food here was also quite good and reasonably priced. So do save this reel for your next getaway.

Really nice stay here at Zostel Vagamon. Location is really pretty, and wasn’t hard to reach by bus. There are waterfalls and other things to explore nearby on foot. Vinu the manager is great at organising other activities for you in the area like paragliding, treks etc. It’s a hostel, so obviously you expect noise and so on, it might be busy on weekends too. It’s a social atmosphere with a nice big common area, I arrived as a solo traveller and easily met people to spend a lovely few days with. And the home cooked food is lovely too!

Worst experience. They are allowing groups to drink alcohol and vomit in top beds. We are in bottom got affected, but no response from zostel. Will never visit zostel and does not allow my friends to visit. Moreover they aren't responding at night so we lost sleep.
