"We did the blue canna for 4 nights. We decided to have a water villa. The sea view of the room is invincible. This island beach is worthy of Grade A. The sand is very fine and white. It is very comfortable to step on. The waves are a bit big. Snorkeling needs water better. , There are fishes under the water house, and small sharks, not aggressive! "The resort and room is beautiful. We saw black tip sharks, turtles, eagle rays and lots of fishes from our room! This resort offers a great snorkeling area. However, our room (57) was infested with cockroaches. We saw 5 during our stay. Although rooms are clean and spotless, quite disappointed there are lots of roaches. If you’re looking for a private island feel, this is for you. We barely saw much guests around the resort and everyone was quite spread out. Also they have lots of activities to do on the island, which is great for adults and children alike. Just note that babysitting service is for 3 yo and up. Food is honestly disappointing. We didn’t mind paying but not when food is subpar. We ordered in room dining which came from breeze kitchen and had buffet at edge. Both disappointing. Genuinely hope the resort can improve of these."

"Amazing stay at Centara Mirage Lagoon Maldives. Brand new island resort, only recently opened a few months ago. The smiling, helpful team at Centara make you able to leave all worries behind and fully enjoy a carefree holiday in paradise. It is the team that makes hotel/resort stay great, and you can feel the positive energy of all the staff encountered. Most notably Emmi and Nicha from the Front Office when above and beyond to make our stay extra special. The whimsical design, inspired by the sea and marine life gives the resort a very happy, relaxed vibe. Designed as a haven for families to enjoy the Maldives, it's also great for couples to get away from the world. Fantastic choice for wonderful holiday, such a happy Maldives holiday experiance, with touches of the Thai hospitality that Centara is famous for."

"It takes 20 minutes by speedboat from Male. The island is clean and there are no bugs. The ratio of Westerners to Asians is about half and half, there are many elderly couples, and it is very quiet.
