Barcelo Royal Beach Hotel

Currently staying at the barcelo royal beach. This place is a disgrace to the barcelo name. I have stayed in many barcelo resorts around the Mediterranean and this one is a dogs number 2. Dated rooms they call luxury, food is bland, poor choice of drinks. Staff terrible and the noise that comes from the main street if you have a mountain view room is unbearable. They have double glazing they say but this is also a dogs number 2 I brought my wife here for her birthday, probably one of the worst presents I have given her in 31 years married. I would have been better putting her in a police xell at least the food would have been better.

Great room, beautiful pools. Great staff on bars. Good breakfast, but the rest of the food is very poor and cold. Nessebar is worth a visit

The first time we have been here the staff really friendly and helpful the front manager Dimitar and todor were really helpful give us late book out time as we had evening flight . The rooms were really clean and cleaner kept the rooms spotless .the hotel facilities were good 3 nice pool frsh towels everyday and food really good . So were going to book to back next here and thankyou to all the staff

Stayed here for two weeks all inclusive as a family of 4, two young children 6 & 3. The hotel is brilliant! It’s right next to all the action but far enough away you aren’t affected by any noise. The hotel itself is lovely, communal areas are kept spotlessly clean and choice of two restaurant areas. Food was amazing- great selection and loads of fresh fruit, cheese, soups etc- couldn’t fault it at all. The blonde lady who greets you at the entrance to the smaller restaurant is a joy- my boys absolutely loved her and she is a credit to the hotel. Our room was spacious and had a fantastic view on top floor overlooking the mountains. It was cleaned daily by a lovely lady. The best thing I have to comment on is the animation team. They worked absolutely tirelessly to ensure everyone had a good time and every night they either put on a fantastic show or had people come in to perform. Modern Talking man was amazing as was the circus type show at end of our stay. Krisi and Ali look after the little ones with such care and are both outstandingly lovely. I don’t have enough positive words to say about the whole entertainment team - they are fabulous. If you haven’t been to Bulgaria before I would very highly recommend. Nessebar and some of the other local seaside towns are beautiful and there’s lots to do in Sunny Beach itself. So a great mix of entertainment for kids and nice places for adults to explore. We will definitely return!

Just coming to the end of our 2 week holiday at the Barcelo Royal beach. There are so many good things to say about it. Let's start with the room very spacious and clean the food 👌 😋 there has not been one meal that we haven't enjoyed plenty to choose from lots of seafood and much more. Last night the customer relations manager did a wonderful show music from the 80 /90 he had lots of the guests on stage with him dancing .location of the hotel is only a minute away from the main beach and the the shops. The pool area is spacious with 3 pools and one indoor pool. Staff are friendly over all our stay has been a happy and positive one. Robert and Colin
