It has been 13 years since I last stayed here, how time flies. My review back then has not changed, still five stars for this Premier Hotel. An excellent location in the bustling Cathedral Quarter of Belfast. I was born and lived in Belfast, and this is a perfect location for your first visit or at any other time. Shops, sights, and public transport are all close by. If you are familiar with this hotel chain, then it is the usual high standard and superb value with friendly staff, upmarket décor, and cleanliness. The downside as with other hotels in cities is parking can be expensive, so plan if you are travelling here by car and staying overnight. There are so many things to do in Belfast so again plan before you visit. My two places to sample one or two pints of Guinness nearby remain the Duke of York or Whites Tavern (Belfast’s oldest tavern from 1630) The Premier chain of hotels has been very well thought out from start to finish with obviously a top-quality forward-thinking management team. Well done to all responsible and thank you.

Great location, right next to the bars, restaurants and shops. Rooms are clean and spacious. On site bar and restaurant are good. Staff are very welcoming. Option for them to look after your bags if you arrive early. Make sure you bring earplugs as it’s close location to the nightlife can make some rooms noisy.

Went here with my husband, we had a premier plus room and early check in at 11am. When we arrived around 11, there were lots of bags being left which was keeping one member of staff busy. I tried to check in on the machine (I had been emailed a QR code) but it said I couldn't check in until 3. Another member of staff came over to help and told me there weren't any room available for early check in. I was confused and queried as I'd already paid for this. The staff member told me there weren't and went to check with someone else who told us there were rooms available if we'd already booked. We were in the room shortly after. Pros Rooms were big Ambience was nice Breakfast was good Staff were very nice Cons - needed extra towels - no soap in dispenser and had to request this from reception -coffee maker seemed to be broken and just leaked water over coffee area - soaking tea bags, etc - air conditioning/ fan didn't work and window didn't open at all so room was very hot

Very friendly staff, super clean room, excellent location. From the moment of arrival we were very taken care of, including tips for the city and surrounding areas for fun day trips, restaurant and café recommendations in central Belfast, sightseeing advice and so on. Any time I needed anything all I had to do was ask, and someone would have an answer or solution to my query. On Friday and Saturday evenings they were checking people off a list as we came in, despite the fact you needed a key-card to enter the hotel after midnight anyway. Felt a little interrogated, but the staff were very friendly so I figured it was a safety precaution - perhaps something had happened previously so they had to be careful who they were letting in... In any case, I didn't encounter a single negative experience or unhelpful person during my whole stay; they even booked us a cab to the airport as we were leaving too early to take the city bus. Genuinely had a lovely stay and will absolutely come back when I visit Belfast again.

Was very disappointed with the hotel room as it smelt of vomit and with the smell in my nose, I decided not to stay. When I phoned customer relations, they said they wouldn’t refund the room. I was only in the room 3 mins and they said no to the full refund.

Good location, first impression not good, scruffy exterior and a busy convenience store next to the entrance. Inside was a drain smell, the whole of Belfast had a drain smell, receptionist was pleasant and helpful. The room was clean but the bed was small and against the wall and no bedside table. Self serve breakfast was good lots of choice. Stayed for one night, Saturday night and it was expensive for what we got.

Stay was OK, booking the meal deal is a nightmare, you get an email for 10% off, but you can only do that if you do all 3 days, our flight to Belfast didn't arrive until late so couldn't do it, we did have meal deal for 2nd day, but that was so much hassle trying to get it. Premier inn need to get things sorted out. Not good customer service at all.
