Staying at the Hazienda in Uxmal has been incredible beautiful. It‘s time travel through history. If one could only close their eyes and go back in time to see/feel what life was like including meeting people of the past. The rooms are beautiful, the service is excellent, the guides as well. I can highly recommend touring Uxmal with a knowledgable, well prepared, multilingual guide named Orlando as well as taking a tour in a vintage Land Rover and learn about the Hacienda as well as Mayan legends with Luis. The night show at Uxmal is a must, dont skip seeing it at day and night! We d love to come back one day especially for my daughter when horses will roam the hacienda again. We d love to ride across the land and discover more! We also really enjoyed the Sopa de Lima at the restaurant as well as the Chaya fish. The eggs, many fruits and vegetables are harvested from the land and taste delicious! Muchas Grazias for an incredible experience and stay at the Hazienda Uxmal!

We stayed in room 300, which had great views of the Uxmal ruins peeping above the trees. The room was spacious and clean. There was a fridge in the room and air conditioning, although both of these were noisy. We relied on the ceiling fan to keep us cool at night. The restaurant staff were very attentive and helpful and the food was good and reasonably priced. The pool area was well maintained. Overall the hotel was very quiet. The Uxmal site is a short walk away. and is very interesting to visit. There are several other nearby sites on the Puuc route, but only Kabah is currently open due to Covid restrictions.
