This is one of the Premier Inns that shut their Beefeater Restaurants and has become a Premier Inn and hotel restaurant. Out of necessity I had to spend a couple of nights here. So this will be my first rating of the establishment as a whole. The Hotel part is what you would expect from Premier Inn Clean functional rooms. Plus freindly helpful staff. And thats is the bulk of my rating. The restaurant side a pale immitation of the former Beefeater Restaurant. I had eaten at the Beefeater many times since it was first opened many years ago. And the food was always great for a Beefeater. If you are expecting Beefeater quality meals you can forget it. To me the menu is more like that of a down market cafe. I ate there both nights I stayed because was just too tired and unwell for the 10 minute walk into the centre of Uxbridge where there are lots of places to eat. The meals were OK. And just that. And that is was I said when asked how my meal was, They filled a hole. Although I have to say the Banoffee cheesecake was really good. You used to be able to get a freshly cooked Beefater breakfast but now its a Premier Inn buffet style. Something I hate because its lazy. In my opinion Theres not much that can go wrong with the continental breakfast if thats your normal type of breakfast. If so then you should be satisfied. The advantage of the Premier Inn Breakfast if that you can eat as much as you like including from the continental. However, on my visit the fried eggs were over cooked, the bacon hard only the sausages were ok. Personally, if ever have to stay here again I would avoid the Premier Inn breakfast and take the walk into town and head for Popiandys in The Pavilions. Its a very popular place in Uxbridge. Their full English Breakfast is £9.60 at the time of writing and that includes a free drink before 11am. I have reviewed a few Premier Inns over the years and unfortunately this is the worst so far. Had it remained as it was with the Beefeater Restaurant it would have been 5 stars from me. Pesonally I think the decision to close the Beefater was a big mistake. Remember this is a personal opionion.

I was able to book a room even though it had gone half past midnight. Very friendly and helpful service. The room was spotless and lovely breakfast. Excellent value. I would highly recommend the venue. Very close to both bus and train services.

I used to think premier inn was quite nice but there's a few things they could do better. The fact that you can no longer open a window to let fresh COLD air in drives me mad, I need that to have a decent night's sleep and that option has been taken away because of H&S. I'm sorry but I won't be jumping out the window for £100 PN I came here to sleep! Because of the lack of cold fresh air I had a terrible night's sleep. The air con doesn't go any lower than 19 Celsius and the fan is pathetic, not only that it doesn't run consistently and the control panel temperamental. As a result I had a hot and very dry night and arose absolutely gasping for water of which they don't have in the room either unless you want to drink from the bathroom taps (no thanks!)

Need to improve customer service The rooms are fine although expensive for a premier inn but it’s London so I suppose that’s what you’re paying for. Had a great nights sleep the beds are so comfortable. The only thing for me is the bar and restaurant service it is just so slow. It’s not even busy but just do t understand why it takes so long to be served a drink. Last night ordered two meals by the time my colleagues meal came I had almost finished mine despite initial lay waiting assuming his wouldn’t have been that long in arriving but eventually had to start eating before mine was too cold. I saw people coming in to dinner and having to wait so long to be seated I just wonder what it’s like when the hotel is full must be a nightmare. The staff nonetheless are very friendly at reception and in the restaurant. The bar restaurant needs to be better staffed

Dreadful experience This place has gone down hill. We checked in ok but got to our room and it was very warm and the air con unit was not responding Went to reception and we were told it was set for the previous guests from controls at reception and they would sort it out. Went out for dinner at 6:00 and told reception the room was still far too warm and uncomfortable. Told again by reception that they would sort it from controls behind reception. Got back at 9:00 and room still too warm so back to reception only to be told the air con could not be adjusted Very annoying why they never said that in the first place and why they gave us a room with broken air con and then kept saying they could fix it when they couldn’t. They did offer a room change at 9:30 but we had a very early start and did not want to have the hassle of packing up and moving rooms so late. A very uncomfortable nights sleep. Premier Inn have definitely cut back and gone down hill and we will avoid Premier Inns in the future.

I was reticent to use a Premier Inn again, after a not entirely terrific experience at their Hastings/St. Leonards on Sea Hotel last year. However, necessity dictated it was to be a Premier Inn and so off I went. Handily located for both Uxbridge town centre and Heathrow Airport, this hotel has gone a long way to repairing the damage done by my last Premier Inn experience. For a start, unlike at Hastings/St. Leonards on Sea, the car park was not designed with Snow White and the Seven Dwarves in mind. Instead, it was large and accomodating. I asked to be placed on the top floor (this hotel only has two floors) as I cannot abide people above me. Whilst the lovely gentleman on reception was unable to accommodate this request, he did assure me that my room was in the quiet part of the hotel, whilst also allying my fears that I would have to hear the general public by telling me the vast majority of residents were in town on business, and were not known for the noise and disruption caused by holiday makers. I'm elaborating slightly, but that is th gist of our conversation, and boy was he right! It was without doubt the quietest hotel I have ever known. It was sublime. I could quite easily have fooled myself into thinking I was the only one staying there, when in fact I knew it to be all but fully booked. The room was clean and comfortable with all the usual accompaniments one would expect from a budget hotel. The TV was a bit of a disappointment though, as there were very few channels pre-programmed, and a lot of those that were Arabic channels that I couldn't have any less interest in watching if I tried. No matter though, I was there to sleep, not to watch Arabic telly, and the bed and pillows ensured I had a really good night's sleep. I'm still a Travelodge man, but Premier Inn, thanks to their Uxbridge Hotel, have certainly redeemed themselves.

Stayed here many times but it has gone down hill very fast. Staff not friendly and feels like you're annoying them with anything. Looked like there was poo on the ceiling just above the bed. Room was very dusty, had to dust it myself before putting any bags down etc. Tried calling before arrival to request a second floor, quiet room. Must have attempted to call about 15 times throughout the day but no one answered. This then delayed check-in significantly as we asked for it on arrival. Again, seemed to be too much to ask for and felt like it annoyed the receptionist. Experience in the restaurant was interesting. Staff didn't seem to want to be there and we're not talking to each other. There was a bit of an atmosphere in the bar and restaurant too. There wasn't much eye contact when dishes or drinks were being brought to you.
