Villas Bungalows Ballena

A luxurious cottage with split A/Cs in every room. The two bedrooms and two bathrooms were highly appreciated by our family. The kitchen, besides a full fridge and stove, has a full range of small appliances including a rice cooker. The cottage overlooks the pool and is steps away from shops, restaurants and the beach.

The room was very clean, had all the amenities one would need for a stay. Service was fantastic, including a free laundry service for an honest review. We wish we allocated more time here as it was comfortable & convenient. Pura Vida. Gracias

What a stunning location and the accommodation is outstanding. You will be grateful for the superb air conditioning after your evening drinks by a crystal clear swimming pool. We would definitely stay here again shiuod we visit Uvita again.

This cabin-style small hotel is conveniently located in Uvita. It is a 5-7 minute walk to Maria Bellena National Park featuring Uvita Beach and the famous Whale’s Tail beach. Our cabin was very clean, large, and came with a good-sized kitchen and 2 bathrooms; it was comfortable for 4 adults. There is AC in every room. The beds are comfortable although pillows and furniture are a bit old. Despite a language barrier, the front desk staff were incredibly helpful. We were able to easily book a tour with them, and they were very flexible with the booking as we had to reschedule due to heavy rains. They even offered same-day laundry services in exchange for an unbiased review. During our 4-day stay, rooms were cleaned and towels refreshed once; I’m sure this could have been done more often if we had wanted. In addition to bath towels, beach and pool towels were also provided. The hotel pool was clean with plenty of available chairs. The property was quiet, safe and within walking distance of a few restaurants. Ubers were hard to find, but when available, were able to drive us 5-10 minutes away to even more restaurant options. Overall, this is a safe, clean, low-frills hotel but an excellent value with great service.

The grounds and garden are beautiful! The staff are very helpful in helping us find tours, restaurants and places to shop. Love that it is close to the Ballena National Park. Saw a sloth right outside the park entrance. Looking forward in exploring the other beaches in the area.

Nice big house, rooms very clean, kitchen has every supply you can think of, friendly people. Very close to the beach, a 5 min walk. Swimmingpool delicious after a hot day. Town is small, lots of restaurants, would recommend Le French Café. Surfing classes easy to book
