Yuli Hotel

We stayed for one night in a Queen Room. This hotel is in a good location, close to the entrance for the beach/national park as well as a few restaurants. Fast Wi-Fi and lots of outlets in the room, as well as good air conditioning. The staff were friendly, professional, and welcoming. The onsite restaurant is pretty loud during the dinner hours but quieted down around 9 or 10pm. It didn’t bother us, but is something to be aware of.

We thought we’d arrived in heaven in a the Monday… but the restaurant wasn’t open. It opened on the Tuesday.. tranquility replaced with loud thumping music no one wanted to hear. I’m amazed anyone could eat there. Spoiled the experience of a beautiful place.

I had an incredible stay at Yuli Hotel! The location is unbeatable – just a short walk from Marino Ballena National Park and close to so many amazing places. The highlight of my trip was the day tour to Corcovado National Park – an absolute must for nature lovers! I also loved visiting Playa Hermosa; it's such a tranquil and stunning beach. The hotel itself was spotless, the staff were warm and attentive, and the pool in the middle of the property was perfect for relaxing after a day of adventure. I can't wait to come back!"

I’ll preface this with a) my boyfriend and I are in our mid-thirties and are definitely not into partying and b) we probably should have read the reviews more closely. The good: - location was really convenient and close to everything you would like to do in Uvita. Literally 5 minutes from the beach/national park, close to great restaurants (definitely check out Fernando’s!) and activities. - parking was easy and stress free - staff were kind and accommodating - pool was such a nice perk and very obviously well cared for and maintained Now, the bad: - we booked a king bed and got…two smaller beds pushed up next two each other? The beds were really uncomfortable and kept separating. Not great given what we were expecting. - the music at the restaurant Saba’s is so, so loud. I understand the restaurant isn’t a part of the hotel, but Yuli promoted them for breakfast and it looks like there are multiple reviews complaining about the noise. If it’s harming your core business maybe it’s time to have a conversation with them about at least turning the stereo down and at THE VERY least turning the music off after 10. - on sound- the walls were paper thin. We could literally hear a person’s phone in the room next to us every time they got a text. - it didn’t feel like the rules on the pool were well enforced. We were woken up at 5:30am on our first day to a person loudly splashing around in the pool, which due to the aforementioned paper thin walls was quite obnoxious. Overall, we were just disappointed. The hotel is really nice looking but the rooms and the noise were just too much. If you’re looking for a party, sure go for it. If you’re looking for a quiet place to sleep, try somewhere else.

The rooms are ample and have nice AC units. The pool area is kept clean. The customer service is TERRIBLE. The person at the front desk won’t answer the phone or texts and disappears for periods at the time. They are rude and dismissive. I tried to get a room in a second floor (because I heard a snake was found inside once) paid extra, ended up on the first floor. No TV, minimum furniture, toilets don’t flush, towels are cheap, parking is small, the road leading to the hotel is very bad (bring a tractor)… and this is only me getting here… Where is the owner of this place??!! HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT!!

This place is fine is you like loud music all day long coming from the adjacent bar/restaurant. I red many reviews complaining about it. I guess they don't read it or they don't care. Beach is walking distance but you must pay. Just so you know.
