Fantastic stay at premier inn Uttoxeter, the staff were extremely friendly and couldn’t do enough to help me and my family. We visited to go to Alton towers and it was only around a 20 minute drive! The hotel had everything we needed for our stay and the breakfast was amazing with a great selection of food! We will be returning.

One night stay for a trip to Alton towers. Haven't even been here 2 hours and the room 10 electrics tripped and lamp with exposed wires was hanging off the wall. Very unsafe to have our toddler in the room and have no lights atall in the room. Went to reception, lovely Carolyn was great but could tell they are extremely short staffed, she was running from one building to another trying to sort everything out. Which ultimately left us waiting near enough 40 mins in the dark with no idea what was going on. She was trying to sort us out plus check in numerous guests and go back over to the other building. Her buzzer was going non stop, I felt incredibly sorry for her. She did her absolute best to sort us a new room as quick as she could, so I cannot fault her service, she was overworked! Management need a good look at how they are with their staff, poor woman! She couldn't apologize enough, and did give us free breakfast aswell. Thank you Carolyn, hopefully you are greatly appreciated for the hard job you are doing!

Stayed here for 1 night after a day at CBeebies Land. Myself, partner and 18 month old in one room. Sister in law, partner and 14 month old in another room. On arrival, sister in laws room did not have a cot after requesting one upon booking, and also emailing a few days prior to double check they would be supplied with one. They went to ask at reception for one to be told (30 minutes later) that they were fully booked and no cots for the night. We then gave them the cot we were supplied with, with our child being abit older than theirs. Absolutely disgusting in my opinion to leave any infant without a cot and if it weren’t for us staying there and having ours to give them, what would they have done? Room was also very dusty and bathroom grubby. Won’t stay again.

We use Premier inns all the time, very disappointed with our latest visit 😢 Checked in OK, but a little sense that all was not running smoothly, staff seemed a little bit distracted with system problems, allocated our room and booked a table at the connecting restaurant /pub just across the car park for 7pm, when we got there, seemed a little busy, no-one acknowledged us at first and after speaking to a polite young man, we were told to wait as they are extra busy tonight, we stood there for about 10 minutes, only saw 2 staff members, who were rushing around, there were empty tables around and some that needed clearing, in the end we Interrupted a young lady who apologised and gave us a seat, she said apologies, but there is only 2 of us on, absolutely disgusting, 2 staff to wait on tables serve at bar and clear up, we were told kitchen running half an hour late, clearly our table hadn't been reserved, we sat down and then thought to ourselves, what is the quality of the food going to be like, so we decided to leave, we went to Reception to report this and spoke to a lovely lady called Carolyn, who was most apologetic and was upset because we were not happy, obviously takes pride in her job, lovely lady and as we said we now have to drive and fiind a restaurant, directed us to somewhere not too far away, overall the staff were good, but overworked, but the management needs questioning!! Has put us off coming back to this one

Premier inn is a comfortable nights sleep. That is always guaranteed. So is the friendliness and kindness of the staff. The shower is powerful and you can run a bath in seconds. Clean, and you have all you need in the room. Great stay as always, and I do look forward to staying there .
