We wanted to see the Northern Lights so we headed to the northern most place we could in Finland! We came to Utsjoki and we checked into an amazing little cabin with 2 bedrooms that fit 4 easily, a great living space and a bathroom with a sauna! The food is amazing, the guides are helpful and engaging, and the owner is really wonderful. I highly recommend staying here and if you are here in the winter do the Sami dinner experience. It is amazing learning about the culture over such tasty food.

The cottage is tidy and cozy and very close to Teno river. The view is fantastic. It is a really peaceful view and the river is different every day. It is nice to watch it changing every day. We warmly recommend these cottages.

We were there for Midsummer and we were a bit suprise for the level of services we got, rather poor. It´s clear that the place during winter is full of people, with plenty of activities to do and organised. In the summer, that was not the case. We had a B&B accomodation for 3 nights, and we had to litterally beg the breakfast... No one to ask for recomendations on what to do, or activities organised, as the girl at the restaurannt was not helpful at all (when she was there). Probably we arrived in the middle of their holidays, but again if you have a place like this a minimum of organisation is requested. then eventually having the coffee surrounded by rendeers is very nice, but you need to get the coffe!

I am absolutely thrilled by this beautiful spot on earth! Very nice rooms with a view of the river. I could even see the Northern Lights from the edge of the bed because of the large windows! In the morning, a breakfast buffet was offered with all the usual things like eggs with ham and bread/rolls, cold cuts and cheese, fruit and everything for the muesli. There was also plenty of tea and coffee, with cow's milk or the vegan version. I think I tried everything and found it all very tasty. And then there was this enchanting nature and peaceful silence in the snow. Whether hiking or snowshoeing, husky sleigh rides or reindeer sleigh rides, walking on the frozen river, it was fantastic. Unfortunately, I was only there for a week and I would love to go back there straight away. Big thanks to Majou, Illka and Pertti.

Situado en un sitio espectacular!! qué vistas!! Al lado de la frontera con noruega. Abres la puerta de la habitación y hay muchos renos… Habitación cuidada y limpia/ nueva. Volvería!! Se cena muy bien en el restaurante del hotel. El desayuno es escaso.
