The star of this resort is its staff. From the day we arrived every single person we encountered were always pleasant and helpful. We didn't see any managers of the resort. The food is average but freshly made. There is a little shop which has all the basics you might need. Lovely free entertainment for the family. Just a lovely vibe. The units are well stocked but in desperate need of an upgrade, the units were cleaned everyday very well. But the general condition of the units need a good deep clean. There's lots of lovely walks on the property and we enjoyed the horse riding and shooting activities. Overall a lovely trip and I do hope they invest in upgrading for future visits.

The chalet is clean and neat. Will recommend to friends for such an awesome and hidden gem in the Drakensberg. great activities for kids and adults.

A huge shout out to rakeem who made my horse riding experience the best! Another shout out to the receptionist with the curly hair (I forgot her name) she was incredible and made sure my stay was exceptional. My waitress Talia was incredible as well. Will defs be back!

The receptionist Jessica and Sadiya made my stay the most exciting and memorable.The kitchen staff were exceptional and a big shout out to Talia who went above and beyond to make sure we were happy Will definitely be back. Alpine heath staff is exceptional

We spent a few nights at Alpine in April. We had an awesome experience from the moment we arrived at the gate until we sadly had to depart. We were welcomed by friendly staff and managers at every corner. The buffets were phenominal and the entertainment was so much fun. We enjoyed all the activities from horse riding, hikes, fishing to archery and a special mention to Kareem for all the family games etc. We will definitely return to Apline Heath every year from now on.

if i was ever to go back something would be wrong, service was terrible and the breakfast was shocking with unfriendly staff behind the counter, coffee that was cold, you waiting to receive items......flies walking on the food....the shop needs to be stocked a bit better and staff need to inform people on more details, like ordering bread or rolls
