The room is pretty good, the bed is very comfortable, and you can see the snow-capped mountains directly when you open the curtains, which is very beautiful. But the breakfast was terrible

Good location, very close to Utah Lake. The rooms are clean and tidy, especially in the rooms facing the snowy mountains. There are several snow-capped mountains and the scenery is very good. Breakfast is quite rich.

The hotel is three miles from Brigham Young University, five miles from Utah Lake and sixteen miles from Sundance Ski Resort. The Hampton Inn & Suites Orem hotel is a four-story hotel with a French country look and feel around our stone fireplace in the lobby. Very nice stay at Hampton Inn in Orem Utah. Friendly and helpful staff especially Ashley went the extra mile to be helpful. Great location, we enjoyed the new Thai restaurant a block away, the golden coral is also good. We enjoyed the nice clean room, breakfast area and work out room.

The good: First impressions with the elevator and hallways are not the best, but the room was very good, clean and comfortable. Rooms appear to have been somewhat recently updated. Staff mostly friendly and helpful. Very quiet, we heard no noise in our room the entire stay. The bad: Breakfast. Apparently it is stocked once at whatever time they begin and completely ignored thereafter. First come, first served about sums it up - if you get there later there is likely to be almost nothing. This happened to us twice in the four mornings, and one of those we weren't even that late! The ugly: As previously stated, the halls and elevators could use some work. The first night there we saw some shady types around, but no after that (other than van campers/livers in the adjoining parking lot). Rooms have many outlets but few USB ports - for 2022 that could be better.

We stayed in this hotel with our two small dogs while on a road trip. I was a little hesitant after reading some of the reviews, but the hotel far exceeded my expectations for the price point. I was warmly greeted by the front desk staff at arrival. We stayed in a king suite and our room was was modern and the furnishings were updated. Both of us were impressed with what we got for our money. Out back was a large, well manicured grassy area for pets and patio furniture with a grill for guest use. The property backs up to the river, and there is a nice paved path to walk on. The hotel was extremely quiet as well. Would definitely stay here again and highly recommend to others.

Provo itself is not big, so there is nothing around, there is a fast food restaurant when you eat, and the hotel itself can provide food. It’s quite close to John John’s University and it’s quite good. There is a little blonde girl at the front desk who looks good and has been to Chengdu, Shanghai, China.

GGuest UserThis hotel gave me mixed feelings. I'll lay out the pro's and con's. Pro's: The breakfast was decent. It was nice to have a coke machine at breakfast. But the food options did seem very limited. I appreciated the greek yogurt and fruit option. That was what I ate both mornings of our stay. It was conveniently located off the freeway, close to Cabela's and an outlet mall was nearby. The main guest bed was comfortable. The small kitchenette was well stocked. Cons: The lights in the bathroom are hooked to the lights in the kitchen. This is the strangest thing ever. If you turn off the kitchen master, you turn off the bathroom lights. We didn't know this until our daughter was in the shower and the lights went off on her mid-shower. They REALLY need to fix this. It's an accident waiting to happen. The bathroom door lock was incredibly hard to use and resulted in slamming the door at each use. You'll know what I mean if you go. We practically had to beg for towels. They only gave us three in a four person room, then insisted we bring our own towels down to the lobby to exchange them for clean dry towels. Speaking of towels, they never had any of the hand-towel sized towels available at the pool. We had to beg for those too, every time we went to the pool. We pulled out the sofa bed and it was clearly not changed from the previous guest. Unacceptable anytime, much less during the pandemic. There was popcorn on and under the sheets on the pull out bed. GROSS. Overall, they need to pay more attention to the cleanliness and fix their issues with the rooms. I probably would not stay here again because of those reasons, but it wasn't a terrible stay.

GGuest UserWe booked a prepaid and paid reservation for one night and got a standard reminder welcome email message few days before. However when we arrived, the reception was not aware of a prepayment and made me sign a new charge. I showed them the proof of payment and requested clarification with the head office. It was eventually sorted out, but that's not how you should welcome a long standing member of the Wyndham Rewards. The door to the room did not want to open, and needed to be reprogrammed. And of course we got a ground floor room even though we requested the upper floor. The room itself was a typical Ramada, nothing fancy, but perfectly acceptable. The breakfast in the morning was totally appalling. Garbage bins overflowing, no coffee, which needed to be brewed for 15 minutes, yogurt was frozen, limited food not replenished. Totally unacceptable and unhygienic. Would not stay there again.

I recommend this La Quinta Inn in Orem, Utah to anyone looking for a place to stay. Rodney, the gentleman that checked me in on Saturday night was a true professional and he even went out of his way to tell me about the surrounding area, so I was well equipped with knowledge of everything that was in the area. He had a great attitude and it was like 1230am.
Thank you La Quinta Inn in Orem, Utah. I will be back!

小小马12The hotel is located in a quiet community, 4 minutes to Wal-Mart, not far from the door has a good pizza shop. American breakfast ~ the pool is not big, my family said that it is a super large bathtub, the daughter is about 5 steps diagonally.
