Last year we found this hotel for the first time as an uncomplicated, clean place with friendly staff. The hotel is well located in a quiet town with beautiful surroundings, but still close to Zurich. That's why it was our choice for this year, too.

This hotel is a perfectly average place to stay all things considered. Not more but also no less. Plus: It is clean and recently renovated. It is also close to the train station. Minus: noise from the busy train line just across the street (esp. a problem in hot weather when you need to open windows (no AC/fans)). Slow response time from management, outdated check in machine that’s cumbersome to use.

- Tilia is located in very nice location. Very close to USTER train station. Very convenient to go to Zurich. - Rooms are very clean and nice. - Self check in machine is super efficient and simple. - 24/7 Coffe is available by machine - Good choice of restaurants & PUB are nearby

Streamlined, automated check in. Clean, functional room. Good mattress. Unfortunately, there's a train track 30 meters from the room so you can hear the rumble every 15 minutes Also, the internet kept disconnecting every couple of minutes.

Nachts ist das Hotel kaum zu finden, weil es kein beleuchtetes Hotelschild gibt. Der "Self Check-in-Automat" steht im Feien und funktioniert bei Frost nicht richtig (Touchscreen). Meine Buchungsnummer (2 Zimmer) wurden nicht erkannt. Erst mit der telefonischen Hotline gelang es gültige Nummern zu erzeugen. Dann mußten alle persönlichen Daten mit Passnummer zweimal eingetippt werden weil zwei Zimmer! Die Tiefgarageneinfahrt liegt in einer anderen Strasse - es gibt aber keinen Hinweis am Hotel. Das war ein Empfang zum Abgewöhnen! Die Zimmer selbst waren klein aber fein und sauber. Es gibt aber eine Bahnlinie vor dem Haus, die auch bei geschlossenem Fenster deutlich hörbar ist. Genauso hört man die Jets im Anflug auf Zürich.

Impossible dormir partirais 5.00 matin . Chemin de ferré 20 m . Église avec cloches 50 m. Lit été bon, confortable. Équipement de chambre moderne et neuf. Enregistrement été facile. Tout été propre. Balcon été très grande. Réfrigérateur travaille bien silencieux.

Die Zimmer sind sehr sauber. Das Personal sehr flexibel. Trotz Bahngleise in der Nähe hört man nichts im Zimmer davon. Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefüllt. Das einchecken und aus checken ist auch sehr unproblematisch. Preisgünstig und empfehlenswert. Vielen Dank!
