The hotel is very comfortable and the staff is very nice and helpful. We had a superior room at the end of the hall that sleeps 3, so we had plenty of room to unpack our luggage. The hotel has a nice view of the channel. However, it's a taxi ride into town and back, so that limited our options somewhat. We elected to have dinner at the hotel restaurant, which was nice but nothing really special. Breakfast was very good with a lot of variety. The espresso machine dispensed great coffee; the brewed coffee offered with the buffet breakfast was awful. It looks like the rooms could use a little upgrading; the floor in our room was deteriorated. Also, the bathroom lighting was terrible. This is a good hotel for one night (our case), but we would not recommend for a stay of several nights.

Staff was very nice. Breakfast was good, but the brewed coffee was terrible. The espresso machine was far better. The rooms can use a little maintenance; lighting in the bathroom could be much better!

Do not stay here
The hotel was extremely over priced and we had a terrible experience. The walls were paper thin and every noise was super loud. Every morning we were woken up at 7 by breakfast noises. And the noise from the restaurant lasted until 11pm. One day they shut off our hot water with no warning. When we called, it took 2 hours to get it back on and after it was brown water. They told us that was normal and wouldn't do anything about it.
The hotel is very far from everything and they don't allow you to bring food into the rooms. So you either have to drive back into town for food or eat at their restaurant. The restaurant was fine, but the breakfast was terrible. Everything was dried out and cold.
When we complained about not having water and the noise, we were told the room was non refundable, so they would do nothing to compensate us. Save yourself hassle, money, and stress and stay somewhere else.

The location is a 30-minute walk from the city center. The view is great, but that is about it. The room was spacious but very outdated and could use an upgrade. The breakfast is very boring, mostly cakes. There are toast, but no toaster. However, if you ask the staff, they can toast it for you. It could easily be improved. We had dinner one night, it was mediocre.

the hotel is on the outskirts of the town (10 mins taxi drive from the center) on the side of the mountain ( hence the great views over the Ushuaia bay) walk down is a nice 25 mins stroll, going back it is better to hail a cab/Uber ( easily done) staff is friendly and rooms are large ( not particularly modern) breakfast could be improved in both quality and choice

This is a fantastic little hotel with fabulous views over the beagle channel. It has a outdoor hot tub and a very nice bar and restaurant. It is walkable from the city if you are fit enough for the hike back up. The staff are friendly and the rooms spacious and well appointed.
