The scenery is too beautiful. It can be a business trip and just stayed for one day. If you come here in winter, it is really great. It is very suitable for vacation and the prices are also very cheap. King crabs and steaks are very cheap. Argentine Sol The exchange rate is really invincible

This hotel was excellent for a three day stay in Ushuaia! The view of the city and the channel was awesome, the room was clean and comfortable, and the restaurant was good (but so is the food in town, so recommend going into town for dinner a time or two as well). The breakfast that was included was also very good. The staff I dealt with were all very friendly and helpful as well. The hotel does offer a shuttle, but it quits running kind of early so I was glad to have a car....downtown Ushuaia is a bit far for most folks to walk, and the trip back to the hotel is all uphill. Parking is very convenient if you do have a car. There is also a nice set of hiking trails right next to the property that made for an enjoyable few hours. All told I enjoyed my stay at this hotel, and would definitely consider staying here again.

I booked this hotel for 5 nights through an agency and I warned that I was going with my 80-year-old mother and we wanted a simple but comfortable room. We arrived in the hotel from El Calafat well tired, but as soon as we checked in, we noticed that the door was badly closed and we started the maintenance that was repairing it. As soon as we returned and remarked the room, we saw that the apple was the least of the problems. The room was a real horror show. The two covers had various hair and hair threads and the floor was clean (foto attached) . The smaller bed ranched high and there was noise from the old doors of the neighbouring rooms and the old tube that passed through the wooden roof (photo of the hot water marks). I called for reception at the time, because I had noticed that we were in the old hotel rooms corridor and there was a neighboring corridor with newer and more lighted doors. The person who attended me said the manager did not allow the exchange because that was the room I had hired, and I asked you to get me out of it because we needed to sleep and that I would pay for the new room that was so unacceptable was to stay in the room they gave us. After a lot of insistence, they gave me the new room for only 3 nights and I made every change alone afternoon exhausted. The next day I complained with the agency, including videos, and gave us the five nights without charge. The facts suggest that you confirm whether the reservation is in the dirty and noisy part of the hotel or in the careful part, because it seems to be two hotels.

-Modern, bright apartments with a very good location since they are one block from the main street of Ushuaia. -They offer towels, bedding and amenities in the bathroom, which are liquid soap, conditioner and shampoo. They also have a hair dryer. They also leave you sachets of coffee, tea, sugar and sachets of powdered milk. -It is equipped with the basics for cooking. -The heating is very good. -Regarding the wifi, it was a little bad only once, but being on vacation, it's the thing that mattered the least to me. -Check in is done at a hotel just around the corner, where you can leave your suitcases in storage until you can enter. To enter the apartment and the building, they assign you a code, so you don't have to worry about the keys. -If you want to have breakfast at said hotel, you can do it at an extra cost and if you need the apartment cleaned during your stay it is also at an extra cost and you can request it for a specific day, if you do not want it done every day . -The reception staff are very attentive and answer all the questions you have.

I hate leaving bad reviews; travelling here from the US was a long and exhausting process. I arrived at 07:30, way ahead of check in, and didn't expect a room, but maybe a place where I could sit and have coffee. Gentlemen at the desk said coffee was part of breakfast buffet, that I needed to wait until I was checked in for the next day. Really? I couldn't have coffee even though I was booked here two nights? Wow. I got checked in at 1, which was fine, but the room was uncomfortably warm. I found the thermostat and turned the heat to cool. Tried to nap (up all night traveling here), but it was too warm. And, I heard people talking like they were in my room. They were in an adjacent room - talking in normal voices - no sound barrier at all! I set the air to the coldest setting and left, returned a couple of hours later and the room was hot. I called the front desk and was told no air conditioning and to open a window. Loud construction and traffic - and the neighbors talking = no sleep again. Day 2, repeat. New neighbors talking, room still hot, loud noises out the window. The hotel also offers free WiFi, but it was slow and intermittent at best. Just terrible. I thought I would give them a pass on that since we were at the ”end of the world,” but found the restaurants I ate at had good WiFi. Asides: no water or coffee available except until 10:00. The bigger issue was water, as the guides I read claimed ”tap water in Ushuaia is not potable.” I've traveled to Africa (several times), Borneo, Thailand, Norway, S Korea, Costa Rica - every place I've stayed provided water, and most had coffee or other beverages available throughout the day as complimentary. To be fair, they provided bottled water in the rooms - but in the mini bar for a price. And breakfast? The breakfast plates they provide are the size of coffee saucers! And the first thing they took away from the breakfast bar was the coffee pot!! So - not impressed. I would not stay here again.

Really happy with my choice. bedrooms very basic but clean and everything works. but the house is lovely with lots of guest areas to sit and enjoy. sunny balcony. really confortable place and Anna and family are great hosts. she had lots of useful local suggestions. i was meeting friends who were staying in hotels and they paid double the price and had various complaints. i would definitely stay here again. Breakfast is minimal but adequate. a 10 minute walk to the waterfront and a bit longer to get back as it’s uphill.

GGuest UserAfter travelling for nearly two days flatout without much sleep at all, we were really looking forward to a comfy bed and a good kip, which is exactly what we got when we managed to get the room to a normal temperature as both radiators in the room and bathroom were on full whack and with it being a smll basement room it held the hart really well. All good after 10 mins with windows wide open, and radiators off. We booked through an agent that we had used for our Antarctic Cruise, and although we stipulated a double bed with possibly a good view the agent did not pass on this information and so we ended up in twins in a basement room (no fault of the hotel directly). Unfortunately the staff had no other rooms available to move us into, but said they could look into it for our second (and last) night, but we didn't want the hassle of having to pack again and move everything when we were heading out early the next morning, so we kindly declined. The breakfast was included in our rate, with plenty of mainly cold foods (although some small pieces of warm hotdogs and eggs). Breakfast was on the fourth floor, and the views were spectacular (see photos). We could see the ship from the window (that was supposed to be taking us to Antarctica - separate review to follow but please beware of more recent reviews of Ocean Victory if you are thinking of booking). Next door to the breckfast room was a coffee machine and pastries available to guests anytime, which was a lovely touch. The reception didn't make us aware of this, but my partner had spotted this on someone else's review fortunately. Again, the views while you are having a coffee are amazing. Stupidly forgot to pack out converters, but reception were kind enough to borrow us one for our stay. Location is ideal, everything in Ushuaia seemed easy to stroll to, it's only a few mins to the main shopping street, and only 5 mins walk to the port. Would highly recommend this place, but ask for a view because that is a massive key feature to this lovely little place.

GGuest UserThe location is still a good store, restaurant, all walk around this neighborhood. But there is also a bad thing, that is, it is too noisy at night, his room is basically on the second floor and the third floor of the city. I don't know why there is a lot of locomotive sound at night. The service is very good, and the boss is very enthusiastic. The facilities are very poor, The bed is very old and the bedding is not as good as the domestic two-star guest house, all of which are chemical fiber. The curtains can't be all pulled up, it's very strange how to change clothes...

The hotel seems brand new: rooms are spacious, comfortable (the bed in particular) with all the facilities required, bedrooms' furniture is new and luxurious. I loved the warm feeling experienced in the way back to the hotel after a long day out in the cold. There's a 20% discount if you eat in the on-site restaurant and they also do room service. 24/7 reception, kind staff and nice breakfast. The cleaning service was perfect. Just a few suggestions: I would have appreciated bacon in the morning. The bread served for dinner is very dry, seems old. WiFi very slow in peak hours. All in all, a great experience.

GGuest UserThe restaurant dinner was genuinely fabulous - Michelin worthy. Mushroom risotto followed by a beef tenderloin that was 6 inches high and grilled to perfection. After that, a chocolate fondue with fruit and profiteroles! This is why I gave the hotel five stars. Had it not been for that meal, it would have earned 4. Unfortunately, the soundproofing between rooms is virtually nonexistent. This fact takes away from the beautiful view over the Beagle Channel. Service at the hotel was also very good with one big exception, a rather sullen woman (shania or something like it) greeted us on the fist day with absolute apathy and was never pleasant after that. The balance of the staff are great. But if you choose not to stay any the hotel, eat at the restaurant. It is worth the trip.

QQIANGFirst of all, the store is very enthusiastic. This hostel is more suitable for professional backpackers. It is cheap and can cook small meals. The location is okay, the city is just a little bit big anyway. Hygiene should be rougher, after all, many backpackers are somewhat unaccustomed. The bathroom is shared, hot water is available. The scenery is infinitely good Again

GGuest UserStaying at a hotel on the mountain and the view is beyond praise! The breakfast restaurant every morning and the fire roasting in the evening have a sense of ”back to the past”, but at the same time, it is very comfortable. However, the breakfast content is actually a bit monotonous, but this is Ushuaia after all, so you can’t ask for too much.

778LaurenM4I prepaid for 2 nights (to save $) but only stayed one. The bottom line is that someone was rooting around in my room and the hotel staff showed zero concern about it.  The full story: I stopped at the hotel before dinner and found my room had been cleaned (btw, no 'do not disturb' option). Otherwise all was well. When I returned from dinner, someone had been in my room - stuff was moved and the TV was on. I immediately told the front desk, and she offered to have the cameras checked the following day. I insisted that they be checked immediately, to which she tried to call an administrator but got no answer. There was no offer to give me a different room or any other show of concern so I asked for a refund (also required an administrator) and left.  No way I was staying there with no idea who was in my room or why.  I booked through hotels.com who assured me that was unacceptable and that they'd sort out my refund... but had to contact the hotel administrators first. First, it'd only take them half an hour to review the cctv. Half an hour later? Nothing. The next day - they needed another hour. I gave them 2. It was Saturday and the right people wouldn't be in until Monday. After all of that, my refund was denied with no explanation.  I still have no idea who was in my room or why, but I'm so glad I had all my valuables with me (no safe in the room).  PS. I only asked for a refund of the 2nd night, which I thought was pretty darn reasonable given how bad the first night was: First off: NO WIFI.  It existed but didn't actually work - got maybe 10 minutes of checking email before it died.  The hotel is under construction. My room had exposed fuses and no patio railing. But there also was no doorknob on the patio door so... yeah.  There were construction supplies on the patio wrapped in plastic that whipped around in the wind all night. Very noisy. And cold - no thermostat in the room and only a thin (stained) blanket provided. They stupidly chose to install soaking tubs instead of normal bathtubs. They look nice, but the bottom isn't flat at all. I'm 34yo with fantastic balance (paddleboarding and ice hockey) and my shower almost killed me. The beds are hard with limp pillows. Breakfast is supposed to stop at 10am but they stop putting out new food around 9am so by 9:30 your options are dry toast and/or lunch meat. They also aren't flexible about this at all - overhear an older woman seeing if they could eat 10 min early as they were doing a tour - denied.  My new hotel gave me the option to open breakfast early or pack me a lunch when I told them I'd have to check out before breakfast started.   If you choose to book here in spite of all this, also be aware that the name on the front of the building is something about being a hotel at the end of the world. I almost didn't go in just because I wasn't sure I was in the right place at all.
