The hotel is in the perfect location for hiking the Gorropu George as the entrance to the hike is just down the driveway and across the road. The hotel is in an elevated location off the main road which attracts a lot of motorcyclists but we couldn’t hear any traffic noise and felt right in nature with the trees and bird’s singing. We booked a Superior room with small balcony which had a great view over the countryside. The room was basic but clean and the shower had plenty of hot water. The hotel has a restaurant and the food was above average given the remote location. The breakfast offered plenty of choices and the scrambled eggs were excellent. We were able to leave our car in the parking area after checking out which enabled us to do the hike without having to find a parking space. There is some parking at the entrance to the hike but this was very busy after 9am. If you want to hike the gorge we would recommend staying here. The hotel provides everything you need and is great value for money.

Very relaxing place, surrounded by the beautiful nature of Urzulei. Rooms are large, well heated, with comfy beds. Located right opposite to the Genna Silana pass, this is a great location if you are planning to start early the descent to the stunning Gorropu Canyon. Simona and the rest of the staff were very professional and helpful. Breakfast was great and we had great dinner trying many of the Barbaricina" specialties.

Great location, excellent food, comfortable room, really kind staff! The best place to visit the wonderful Gorropu canyon and you'll enjoy also the beauty of nature all around you. We stayed more than we planned due also to the peaceful mountain place.

Hotel molto carino,reception accogliente ma il mangiare sembra una mensa la colazione viene rimpiazzata dopo un bel po’ è l’’ascensore nn funziona mi devo portare la valigia pesante nelle scale e comunque se c’è qualche signore/ragazzo con disabilità deve per forza fare le scale

Albergo - ristorante in un luogo magico sulla orientale sarda località Genna Silana. Tutto curato nei minimi dettagli nella gestione famigliare, dagli arredi, la cura dei particolari, la cucina, che unisce tradizione eccellenza nei prodotti di loro produzione, regala piacere al gusto delle cose semplici che risultano essere le migliori e le più difficili ad essere cucinate, personale professionale e cortese, di quella cortesia che sa di ospitalità mai di piaggeria. Hotel-Ristorante Gorropu....val bene una sosta!

Il ristorante è una balconata sul Supramonte, la gola di Gorropu di fronte. Piatti eccellenti, primi buonissimi, consiglio i ravioli menta e noci. Il filetto di manzo al cannnonau da non perdere. Prezzi 45 a testa circa. Fai esperienza di pace, silenzio, fresco anche ad agosto, personale gentile e disponibilità per ogni tua richiesta.

Ci siamo trovati bene ogni volta che abbiamo deciso di rivolgerci a voi per l'organizzazione di varie cerimonie. Cibo ottimo, belle presentazioni dei piatti e soprattutto prodotti di qualità. L'hotel è curato e lo staff sempre accogliente e sorridente. L'hotel Gorroppu è una delle diverse strutture ricettive presenti nella località di Urzulei e la sua priorità è la soddisfazione dell'ospite. Molto attenti anche alle esigenze dei più piccoli con menu riservati e grandi spazi sia interni che esterni. Grazie per il vostro lavoro!
