You can't get a better location, beautiful area and the views are amazing. These are very cute bungalows in the middle of nature but unfortunatly they are falling apart. My husband and I came to Sao Jorge with my sister and her husband. The first night my foot went through the beginning part of my sisters the deck. Luckily no injuries and I didn't go that far down. There were a few leaks in our bungalow and we let our host, Philipe, know. Bungalows are 1 bedroom units with a nice bathroom, small kitchen, small living room, and a deck surrounded by greenery. There is a great walking trail to a swimming hole on one end and a black sand beach on the other end. These are great units and would be even better if they were fixed up to their full potentional. You get what you pay for, but I would have paid a lot more if they were properly maintained.

Family-run business. The manager was not there when I checked in and there were some challenges with communication, however he was very responsive in resolving issues remotely. The bungalow has a fantastic view! Very basic (wonky cables, torn blinds, a few slices of bread in a ziplock bag for breakfast and jam in a tupperware). Cheaper than other options. More for make-do types looking for a bit of adventure, do not expect cozyness or 24-7 concierge. Was very clean.

The access road is so bumpy that you have to look at the floor underneath. The room is absolutely filthy - algae in the coffee machine, snails and fungi in the bathroom, stains on the bedspread, and the floor is curling up due to high humidity. The bungalows are not very soundproof - noisy turkeys next door, and the farmer is sometimes making noise at 6 a.m. No Wi-Fi, small bed. The washing machine is difficult to operate; the owner insists on washing at 20 degrees. Positive: View and welcome basket with milk, butter, juice, jam, and rolls.

Although the accommodation is dated and in need of renovation, it has a large covered balcony with a fantastic view. This puts the condition into perspective, especially considering the price.

Muito mau estado. Sujo. Casa’s de banho em péssimo estado. Madeira suja, partida. Teias de aranha. Casas de banho não funcionam todas sujas e mal tratadas. Acessos em mau estado, com pedras e buracos. Muito desconfortável. Péssimo . Impossível
